PRINCESS OF HOPE

Imagine, you're passing through a barren land with no signs of any human activities. It's all plain dry and hot due to the sun being so close to the earth. Balochistan is the most ignored province of Pakistan. Being the largest province, it still has the least amount of population. Balochistan is almost 45% of Pakistan, yet it's popular density is only 36/km². It's a vicious cycle to be honest. Due to the ignorance of the Government, a lot of people from Balochistan migrate to other Cities every year. Due to less population, the Government ignores this province even further. Did you know, the most Gold and Gas deposits are found in Balochistan. The whole world benefits from this province, yet the people living there have been ignored since the very start..

Do you believe in evolution? I do. Not in the theory which states human race has evolved from monkeys. But in theories which state that humans have evolved over time according to their needs and I can state medical facts proving them. For example, there are some body parts which are still in our bodies but don't have any functions. Being a dentist, I'll give one such example and that is the 3rd molar. It has no use in the current human race. But has it always been like this? Absolutely not. The caveman didn't have the means to cook their meat. They didn't have all the necessities that we have now so they needed extra means to cater their hunger. Raw meat needed more jaw capacity and more strength. That's where the third molars came into work.

Over years, there have been many cases of mankind's Evolution. The older people depended more on their strength, will power and unity. Due to that masterpieces were created. One such example is of the Great Pyramids. We have many old structures built thousands of years ago which are still intact. One might think what did the old men do to build such places? Pakistan has a lot of association with old civilizations. In this post, I'll be mentioning one of them and that is the:

PRINCESS OF HOPE

Located in the barren lands of Balochistan, Princess of Hope gives a ray of sunshine and hope to people who visit it or pass through it. It's a natural sculpture made due to deposition of rocks. That's one theory. The other states, the people who lived here thousands of years ago built it as a sign of some queen. It's a sculpture representing a female. A whole area can be seen around it which includes the Great Halls, the arena, the battlefields and amidst that stands tall the princess of hope.

I visited the Princess of Hope place a few months ago and decided to show this to my Hive Fam. The journey from my city to this place was indeed a very tiring one. Main reason being the infrastructure. The roads were broken due to which we had to drive slowly. No possibilities of through a plane or even a train.

The weather was extremely hot. The sun was burning down on us but that didn't stop me from hiking to the top spot from where all the structural beauties were clearly visible.

In the picture above, you can see the complete area in which the old civilizations settled. The King's seat is visible at the topmost level. The great halls beneath it and just piles of barren land. Sitting there, I was contemplating that the people before us had better technology than us. Maybe, instead of Progressing, we regressed. It's the only logical explanation looking at all the structures built in the old ages. How did they do it without the help of machines and other stuff? I even had a debate with a friend on this journey and the end result of the debate was that indeed the old civilizations had better technology than us.

You might be wondering, where did the name Princess of Hope come from. Surely, the old people didn't name it that. Heck, they didn't even speak English. This sculpture was named as the Princess of Hope by the World Peace Ambassador, Angelina Jolie when she visited Pakistan. She was going through this barren land when she noticed this sculpture. Looking at the beautiful art piece in a barren land gave her a ray of hope that even in the darkest of times you can find hope, if you're truly looking for it.

That's me trying the echo affect in this place. I screamed so loudly and my voice echoed over the whole land and continued for a few seconds. It was a beautiful experience.
