How to teach little children about God - Part 3

avatar

Let's look at what we learned about God so far.
Part 1:

  • God is the creator of people and of the world. People, animals, plants, oceans, mountains and everything else were created by God.
  • God is our provider. We eat the plants and the animals that God created. He gives the rain that let the food grow that we eat.

Part 2:

  • God is spirit, we cannot see Him.
  • God is three in one, God the Father, God the son, God the Spirit.
  • When we talked to God it is called prayers.

So today we will learn more about God.

Why did God create people?

  • God is love, He is so full of love and goodness that He wanted to share this love with people.

You know , how Mommy and Daddy care for you? That is love, if you love somebody you will do anything to care and protect that person you love.

That is the same with God. He created people so that He can love them and care for them. He created this beautiful earth for us to live on.
God loves you very much.

Who created God first?

  • God first created the earth, a beautiful and perfect place for people to live on.

  • Then God created the first two people.
God created a man and He called him Adam and then He created a woman and called her Eve.

  • God created Eve to be a mate and helper to Adam. That is why mommy and daddy are together, loving each other and helping each other. That is the way that God created a man and a woman.

God created people so He could speak to them and they to Him.

  • Today God speaks to us through the Bible and through our spirit. Our spirit is a place inside us that can communicate with God.

  • When we talk to God it's called prayer.
    We should pray every day.

Next time we will learn more about praying.
