There were so many fantastic posts in the community this week, it was hard to pick standouts for the curation, with them all standing out so well. A huge thank you to everyone for sharing some great learning strategies, some wonderful achievements and for LOTS of interaction in the community.

First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:

@melbourneswest
@missdeli
@tomaspalomo
@virgilio07

This week we got some mental arithmetic strategies from @emiliomoron. I love how he's explained the concept and added a hands on element to the process too, as this often helps the comprehension process.

I always love the colourful pre-school activities @missdeli does with her son. This week she shared two with us and I decided to share the pumpkin seed flowers activity as it involved her son a little more from start to finish, allowing for a broader range of skill development. I'm guessing it would have been the messier of the two activities, though. 😉

There are lots of different approaches to homeschooling and @melbourneswest's
homeschool excursion to a wildlife park reminded me of what people call world schooling. Excursions have got to be the most fun ways to learn and I know even as adults we can still learn so much this way.

I just can't go past an activity that makes learning a game, so I've got to share @inspiredbyhive's word puzzle game for improving spelling skills. What a clever way of gaming spelling, I'm almost envious my children are long past this learning stage.

A newcomer to the community, @leomarylm shared two great posts this week. I've decided to share the reading flashcards, another fun approach to literacy. I love the creativeness of homeschoolers whereby learning tools don't have to be purchased, but can be created from scratch instead. It's so much easier to move onto new things this way when children lose interest.

Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have added @summertooth as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
