How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?
All of you must be wondering how we picked the authors who get into the highlight. As some of the good curation projects out there, our highlighted authors are also handpicked to ensure that we diversify the content and the recommendations in the highlight. We want this highlight to be a place where people get inspiration, a place to learn something new, and even finding a recommendation.
Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually hand pick the posts. Some factors includes : the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort.

Title : Muchas vidas, muchos maestros // Many lives, many masters
Dr. Brian Weiss; chief of psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami; relates in this; his first book; an amazing experience that completely changed his own life and his vision of psychotherapy. One of his patients, Catherine, recalled under hypnosis several of her past lives and was able to find in them the origin of many of the traumas she suffered. Catherine was cured; but something even more important happened: she was able to get in contact with the Masters; superior spirits that inhabit the states between two lives. They communicated to her important messages of wisdom and knowledge. This deeply moving story, a meeting point between science and metaphysics, was an extraordinary best seller and remains a must-read in a troubled world, especially for those seeking spiritual meaning.

Title : Circe, by Madeline Miller - REVIEW
So, while this book is all about humankind and what it means to be mortal - it is still set in this world of Gods, Goddesses, Fates, and so on. More specifically in the mythological version of ancient Greece. A fantastical place and time with a lot of self-imposed jargon that will go over the head of the unfamiliar. 😅. If you don't mind sitting through a class on Greek mythology, this is one hell 😈 of a book. I've found it has the same effect over me as the Name of the Wind - the more time passes, the more I like it, despite its shortcomings. And this is a book that contemporary readers and romance readers and sci-fi/fantasy readers can all enjoy. I really do feel it breaches a lot of target demographics. You will enjoy this book even if you have no idea of Greek mythology.
