[Ger/Eng] Warum einfach, wenn es auch kompliziert geht | Why be simple when you can be complicated

Kaum haben wir die Crunch-Time der Ausgabe HiQ №14 verdaut, stehen auch schon die Vorbereitungen für das Hivefest6 an.
Die HiQ №14 kam gut an und wurde auch gut gevotet. Aber wird sie auch gesehen? Ja und nein! Wir veröffentlichten bisher immer die deutsche Version unter @hiq und die englische Version am nachfolgenden Tag unter @hiq.magazine. Jetzt wurde die deutsche Ausgabe stark von @thebeardflex promotet und auch vielen anderen. (Anm. d. R.: Danke dafür.) Das führte dazu, dass einige englisch sprachige User die deutsche Ausgabe gelesen haben, statt auf die englische Ausgabe zu warten.
Auch die Sichtbarkeit der englischen Ausgabe hat gelitten. Zur Erinnerung: Wir verlosen in HiQ №14 Preise im Wert von ca. 564 USD. Und ratet mal, wie viele englischsprachige User bisher mitspielten - richtig, null. Wir sind es ja schon gewohnt, dass viele Hivians nix gewinnen wollen, aber null Mitspieler ist ein neuer Rekord. Bei uns bleibt ein etwas fades Gefühl. Wozu haben wir die komplette Ausgabe mühevoll übersetzt? Was können wir verbessern?
Uns ist natürlich auch klar, dass wir uns die internationale Leserschaft erst erarbeiten müssen, so wie wir es mit der deutschen getan haben. (Anm. d. R.: Wir können schon gar nicht mehr AltSpaceVR ohne Security betreten, da wir sonst von HiQ-Groupies überrannt werden.) Ein wichtiger Schritt wird für uns sein, dass wir konstant bleiben. HiQ №14 ist nicht die letzte Ausgabe, die ihr von uns gesehen habt.

No sooner have we digested the crunch time of the HiQ №14 issue, as preparations are underway for Hivefest6 are underway.
The HiQ №14 was well received and well voted. But will it be seen? Yes and no! We used to publish the German version under @hiq and the English version the following day under @hiq.magazine. Now the German version has been heavily promoted by @thebeardflex and many others as well. (Editor's note: Thanks for that.) This led to some English-speaking users reading the German edition instead of waiting for the English edition.
So the visibility of the English edition suffered. As a reminder, we are giving away about 564 USD worth of prizes in HiQ №14. And guess how many English-speaking users have played so far - right, zero. We are already used to the fact that many Hivians don't want to win something, but zero players is a new record. We are left with a somewhat bland feeling. Why have we painstakingly translated the entire issue? What can we improve?
Of course, we also realize that we have to work hard to gain international readership, just as we did with the German one. (Editor's note: We can't even enter AltSpaceVR without security anymore, otherwise we will be overrun by HiQ groupies). An important step will be for us to remain constant. HiQ №14 is not the last issue you have seen from us.
Ein weiterer Schritt ist, dass wir auf uns aufmerksam machen müssen. (Anm. d. R.: Wer will uns nicht kennen?) Und was wäre da besser als das Hivefest6?
Wie es das Schicksal so will, haben wir heute eine weitere Bestätigungsmail von @roelandp betreffend unseres Vortragsslots bekommen. Unsere Präsentation auf dem Hivefest rückt immer näher. (Anm. d. R.: Wir sind schon ganz aufgeregt.)
Der Slot ist für 20 Minuten geplant, inklusive Fragerunde. Freut euch also auf eine Achterbahnfahrt durch die Welt des Hivestyles.

As fate would have it, we got another confirmation email from @roelandp today regarding our presentation slot. Our presentation at Hivefest is getting closer and closer. (Editor's note: We're already excited).
The slot is scheduled for 20 minutes, including a Q&A session. So look forward to a roller coaster ride through the world of hivestyle.
