The Night We Hit Pause On Netflix, Put Our Apron On and Homemade Pizza That Made Our Night Extra Special

Hi Asean Hivers Fam! Wherever you are, whether you're pursuing new dreams, taking a well-deserved relaxation, or simply living in the moment I hope life treats you well.. I'll share my happenings with you, along with a glimpse of our usual night routine.

Our usual nights are pretty simple. Dinner, cleanup, then straight to the sofa to binge two Netflix movies before we call it a night. It's our little routine, easy, comforting, and our favorite way to chill together. That night started the same. We were deep into our second movie when a scene popped up, characters laughing, chatting, and eating greedily, with cheesy pizza. Instantly, my husband and I locked eyes. No words needed. We both knew exactly what the other was thinking, we needed pizza. Without missing a beat, we hit pause, tossed on some aprons, and raided the fridge. No pizza dough in sight, but we found some wraps, close enough. We decided to roll with what we had. Some leftover salami, a can of Spam, a pack of mozzarella cheese and some spices, it was all we needed.

So this is what we've got. Our ingredients are:
-Tortilla wraps
-Salami
-Spam
-Mozzarella
-Onion
-Black Olives
-Green Olives

We just put the ingredients together and put it in the microwave. We set the Salami flavor to medium-high for 15 minutes. The Spam for 20 minutes because my hubby wanted it a little bit toasted.

We ate the Salami in our dining area. We couldn't wait, but I told my husband I wanted it to be cheesy, so he put the 2 slices back in the microwave and spread the mozzarella on the top.

In no time, we had two flavors of pizzas, one with salami and one with Spam. They came out crispy, cheesy, and smelling amazing. We raced back to the sofa, plates in hand, and pressed play. Sitting there, eating our DIY pizzas, laughing at how random the whole thing was, made the night feel different.
The best memories are those you didn't plan. That small break, the pause, the aprons and the laughter in the kitchen tuned an ordinary night into something special.
