OMG! Look at that Splinterlands market cap! I go away for a couple days and BOOM Splinterlands explodes again and we have new ATHs. Question is, is this from the excitement and new money coming from Chaos Legion or is this due to Bitcoin rising back to it's ATH again?

My collection price also went up by 10% from yesterday. I might argue it's the excitement for the new CL because my other portfolio in Altcoin did not gain much even though Bitcoin rose to new ATH. I am still perplexed by this. It looks like Bitcoin dominance is losing its power.

I think you're right, the pump is related to CL excitement. It's a good time to be in the market no matter what the reason.

I have no clue what the reason but one would think that CL sales would negatively impact "older" cards but this is Splinterlands and logic doesn't seem to apply to the ROI this game gives to everyone.

That's true. The best guess I can give is that those selling their vouchers are putting the money into buying cards on the market. I'm not sure, but I thought unopened packs don't count toward market cap. Either way, Happy Days for my Deck value!

Could it be, because CL packs are not to be opened for another month and some new players, who hoped to gain access to fresh cards are just FOMOing in? I certainly did that :o).
