Visiting A Cow Ranch in Purok 23, Poblacion Manticao, Misamis Oriental

It was a hot sunny day when I decided to take a visit on one of the cow ranch place here in the residential area. Purok 23 has already a wide cow ranch, this place is also part of Manticao, Misamis Oriental. There are only 50 households located here and most of the residents are farmers. It was very lucky for me because the weather is very good, sunny and calm. Because of extreme heat brought by the sun, the grass were slowly dried and wethered. The soil has already cracks on it and the fruit trees and valuable plants were started to dry.

A Shortcut Road:

This road is very helpful to us here. It is a shortcut to all people who will passing here especially those people who lived far away from crowded areas. Every summer season, this road is very dusty and if it has rains it turns into muddy situations. The road side was consists of many trees and plants, it can give a cool and relaxing place everytime when we passes here. There are also coconut trees planted near at the road, the Local Government put a plans to concrete this Road so that it can be easily to pass here without getting muddy or dusty.

This is the part of the cow ranch were many different kinds of wild plants can be seen. This place has already commercialized because of the electricity passing through here. This place is very perfect for cow raising because it is very plain and full of grass. There are also many kinds of animals and insects in the place. Even if this is a cow ranch, the owner don't want to cut the trees so that it can give a cool and relaxing place when they visited the place. This is near at the Barangay road that is why it is very to access the place.

An Old Moto Racing Area:

There are some portion of the place that contains many humps views. Last year, the motocross was helded here to present their moto styles. But as many Months has passed, the place was already covered with Amorseko plants. This kind of plants is the cows favorite to eat. There is also a majestic mountain near at the place and this is the boundary line between the public market and the cow ranch.

A Small But Very Unique House:

This is the rest house or resting areas of the land owner. Everytime they visited the place, they rest in here. It is a kind of small and simple house but very unique. It was built at the middle of the banana plants. The windows contains a glass jealousy. The walls and floors of this is built with light materials. It is a perfect place to rest in here because it is very cool and relaxing because of the trees surrounded the place.

A Place Full of Banana Plants:

This is the banana plants Im talking about. This is one of the most valuable plants and primary source of income here in the place. Within 9 months, this will bare more fruits and it is very highly in demand to the supermarket. Due to extremely heat brought by the sun, some of the banana plants are already dried. This is one of the farmer's problem.

I always pass here in this road trill, because there is no heat in the place. The stream has already dried up and the plant started to die. The soil is also cracking and the residents hope that it will have a rain. Coconut trees is also one of the primary source of income here in the place that is why, there are lots of coconuts we see here.

As a traveler, I took many different kinds of beautiful places just like this one. I hope this area I went will remain its beauty until next generations to come.
