A Day in My Life Blog: A Successful Training of the Samaritan's Purse OCC Program with our Church Members as the Teachers. Thank God for this Opportunity! πππ
Have a Blessed Day to all ASEAN Hivers and all my Fellow Hivers all over the World!
In every time I have an opportunity to attend to any event for the ministry, I am always happy for it is privilege for me to be used for God's glory. That is why, just recently I have attended again an event that will benefit our Children Ministry Department.
The event that I am talking about is the training of the Samaritan's Purse OCC Program in which our Church has been accepted as one of their Ministry Partners for the year.
Today, I will be sharing the training we have with the team as thier requirements but before that, I would like to give thanks first my supporters all over the community. Thank you so much to all of you.

Last January, before this training happened we have also attended one of their required meeting to be attended, the vision casting, and after a month the training happened.
They scheduled the training to happen by 8:00 in the morning at the Church which is very near to me which took only around 15 minutes to travel. Together with me to attend as they required also are 4 of our Church Members as teachers and me as the team leader.

We arrived at the Church around 7:45 in the morning and then we immediately go to the registration table for the attendance. It is very important for us to be in the attendance.
Just a few minutes, some of other Churches who will be with us too who were accepted also as Ministry Partners, finally came and it is now time for us to get started.
We started the training with an opening prayer then a song of worship led by the Host Church Member, and we thank God for such a wonderful time to worship Him.
The Samaritan's Purse Team now take over the program as we have officially started the training. The team has now started discussing what is this training all about and why is it very important.
They wanted us to be equipped and well prepared as we going to implement this program for the Kids. This morning will be more about discussions and all about technical aspects like the preparation and implementation with all the papers we needed to prepare.

We do have really learned a lot and have understand what we should have to do for the implementation of this program but we will continue this by afternoon after our lunch break.
During lunch break, together with one of our Church mate who were also with us, we bought a Lechon Manok in the market then we immediately took our lunch so we can rest for a while before the second part started.

Exactly 1:00 in the afternoon, the second part of our training has been started in which this time it is more about actual event training. In the morning, it is more about discussions and technical aspects. This afternoon will be very exciting as we will interact an actual event what are some important things to do when that day happen.
The team now, discuss also to us on how to use the Materials that they've been given to us and the actual position of each role during the event from the teachers, kids and even the the parents.
It is very important for us to know about this, in order for us to properly implemented the program in our Church. It is good that the team did it in actual scenario in order for us conceptualize the actual scene that may happen.

In the afternoon session also, we have been also tasked to do in actual scene by group. We've been given the scenario together with our group mates and thank God for everything went well. All the teams have participated and done it well.
The Samaritan's Purse also introduced to us one of the animated character that we can see in the lesson they gave which named Sam the Airplane. They've also shown to us how to do it in actual which is looks like a play.
It was already around 4:30 in the afternoon when we officially concluded our training today and before we went home, the most important part of this training has been given to us which is the contract we have as their Ministry Partner for without this, our Church will not be given the Gifts Boxes for the kids.
After then, a claim slip has been also given to us as when the time to claim has been given to us, we can directly go to the warehouse.
But for now, together with our Church Members, Ive told them that we needed to finalized the lists of Children as to received the Gift Boxes. We then immediately went back home safe and soundm
This would be all for today's post, and until next time again, I just want to thank everyone in advance who will drop by on my blog post.
To God be all the Glory! ππβοΈ
