A Day in My Life Blog: Attended the First General PTA Meeting at My Nephew's School which shared an Update about the New Education System being Implemented! 😇😊🙏

It's the end of the week and the last class of the week for my Nephew Baby King2x. This is definitely the day of the week which he loves the most as after this day, their is no class.

Now as the new School Year 2026-2027 has finally started, it is important for the school to organize it's first General Parents and Teachers Associations Meeting for this school year to update what are the new rules and other important updates from the Department of Education.

I am glad to attend the said meeting for me to bw informed and updated and this is what I am about to share in today's blog post. But as what I always do, my greetings and thanksgiving first to all my ever supportive supporters here in the community. Thank you all for the support

It was yesterday when the Teacher of my Nephew informed us that she gives a letter of invitation for the coming General PTA Meeting the next day and when I asked my Nephew about the letye, he immediately get and give it to me.

This is what actually I've waited for as what I always read on Social Media that their are new updates about the Education System here in our country from Elementary to High School, and it is sure that this will be shared during the meeting.

Based on the invitation letter given to us, the meeting will start at 2:00 in the afternoon. That is why, just before the meeting around 1:45 in the afternoon, I immediately went to the School wnd and their were many parents waiting to the meeting already.

At exactly 2:00 in the afternoon, the Principal of the School called us to go inside the room so we can start the meeting as we will be discussing more about many important updates given to them from the National.

As what I've seen on the Screen, their is a title their saying, ***"Three Term Block Orientation" ***. This maybe the update that I've always read in the Social Media.

We have still waited for a while as the Principal wanted all parents and guardians be present inside the classroom so she can explain well about the said important updates.

After few minutes and since many parents and guardians were already inside the classroom, the Principal now getting started with the meeting. At first, she welcomes everyone for this new school year and thank everyone who helped during the Brigada Program.

What she shared first is the status of the enrollment for this School Year in which the number is increasing that last year. And that she thank everyone most especially that this is an achievement for the School.

The next announcement and the most important update that they needed to share now, is the newest education system which newly implemented by the Department of Education. This is the first time to implement and even us parents and guardians are expected to adjust too.

The major changes being implemented is the Three Term Block instead of having Four Grading Period from the past. They will now be implemented a more complex but we think very effective way for the Students to learn more while schooling.

They have also shared to us, the newest grading system which connected with the new Education System. Their is no giving of Honor but instead the awards will be Character Treats which are very good I think most especially to lower grades like Kindergarten and Grade 1.

We do learned a lot and now, we have understand very well about the said update that I keep on reading and watching on Social Media and even on TV.

Now before the meeting ended that was around 3:30 in the afternoon, we have a visitor which just arrived and we welcomed them wnd and joined us in the meeting.

They were from the Cooperative which they donated a paints for the School as their way of giving back as the Teachers recently joined the said Cooperative. This is indeed a good idea to beautify the School.

What we do next after the General PTA Meeting is we immediately go to the Classroom and we will now be having our Homeroom PTA Meeting. This means that we will be having a meeting with the Class Adviser.

What we did here is we have elected an Officer and I have been elected as Vice President. The Teacher now welcomes everyone of us and asked help by doing a follow up when the Students were at home.

It is good to know what the Teacher's taught, so we will know what and how we can help the Teacher. I am also happy because the Teacher is very approachable and we can't feel uncomfortable with her. After then, our meeting is over and it is now time for us to go home.
