Hello guys, welcome to my blog, it's another beautiful week and we are on to the 2nd contest of the 56th week in the Hive Learners weekly community contest. Sincerely, I taught I was going to skip this edition as I couldn't figure out what my favorite soundtrack in a movie was, coupled with the fact that it has been a long time since I sat down to watch a movie, no thanks to my ever busy schedule, jogging between work and family duties to strike balance.

Guess what, a song from my
music library saved the day, as I put the kids to bed, plunged in my earphone to listen to some music to calm the stress of the day, on shuffle, the first song happened to be Bella Ciao then it clicked, I remember downloading this music after watching a Scene from the movie, La casa de papel, also known as Money Heist,

it is a heist crime thriller genre, I'm guessing most of us will know this movie as it was quite popular the year of its release, the movie centered around robbers dressed in red overalls and hideous masks who were led by an intelligent leader known as professor, they did their operation right in the Royal mint of Spain and another bank in Spain, the two heists were masterminded by the professor, in a way that the police were also forced to work in their favor unknowingly, making them successful with their plans. He recruited robbers that had a bad past experience with the government and police and promised them a very huge share each if they pulled through with the heist, the heist was a form of resistance against the government and the police, also some of their loots were poured out to the public from a plane, which made them gain the support of the public, you would almost believe robbery is a good thing to do, I can't explain it all, it's been long I watched it, maybe two years or more but I enjoyed it during the time.

Why I love the Bella Ciao song

This song was sung in the movie when they were successful with their first operation, and the soundtrack continued when they were about to begin the next, you know the action scene, arranging of weapons,setting up of plans, on the move, etc. My love for Spanish / Italian music made me like it instantly, I did my research and found out more that this song was first sang as a form of resisting the harsh laborers by the mondina, the women that worked in the field in the 1900 century, under harsh working condition, they were beaten and had to say goodbye to their beautiful self. They later won and begin to work in a more favorable time arrangement.

In the present time, the song is still used especially during protests or resistance asking for their rights to be given, it is an Italian resistance anthem accepted globally. AnytimeBellaa Ciao is sung, the first thing that comes to my mind is Money Heist then I enjoy the language and beats, it never gets old, and new covers keeps popping, still, I find them interesting as the first time I heard the song.
