Hello everyone,
Welcome to Afritunes week 107. I'm so happy to be here today to share my entry for this week. It's been a while since I made a presentation here but I'm happy to be able to do so today.
This week, I will be sharing a cover of the song American love by Qing Madi. I've been listening to this song repeatedly for the past one month now and the rhythm of the song is something I find really pleasing to the ear. I don't listen to much of her songs but this particular one, I can't get it off my mind.
One of the reasons why I love the song is due to its beautiful lyrics. It's about a Nigerian lady telling her foreign boyfriend how she's going to take care of him, take him to places and show him the world. This is actually rare because mostly, it's guys that normally make such promises that to their woman but in this case, she want to be the one to give him a good experience. I find that to be truly amazing amd admirable.
The song was sang and recorded by myself while using an instrumental I generated from the Moises app. The video was edited on the Capcut app while my cover picture was edited on Canva. I do hope you guys enjoy and vibe with this cover of mine.
