     Hello to all the Gems community, sometimes there are situations that change our plans from one moment to another and that can cause us anger, sadness or frustration, something like this has been happening in my life for a few days now, but today, talking with my girlfriend, we realized a great reflection that I would like to share with all of you.

     Hola a toda la comunidad de Gems, a veces hay situaciones que cambian nuestros planes de un momento a otro y que pueden causarnos enojo, tristeza o frustración, algo así ha estado pasando en mi vida desde hace unos días, pero hoy, hablando con mi novia, nos dimos cuenta de una gran reflexión que me gustaría compartir con todos ustedes.

     Let's put them in context, since we met, my girlfriend and I have always been willing to invest, we really like to undertake, and even more if they are investments in the world of cryptocurrencies, but as we know, crypto investments are high risk, and sometimes they may not go as planned. And so it was, although we did not lose money, even, we gained a lot with respect to the initial investment, this was not at all up to what we expected, changing a lot our plans that we had previously made.

     Pongámoslos un poco en contexto, desde que nos conocimos, mi novia y yo siempre hemos estado bien dispuestos a invertir, nos gusta mucho emprender, y más aún si son inversiones en el mundo de las criptomonedas, pero como sabemos, las inversiones en cripto son de alto riesgo, y a veces puede que no salgan como se planeaba. Y así fue, aunque no perdimos dinero, incluso, ganamos bastante con respecto a la inversión inicial, esta no estuvo para nada a la altura de lo que nosotros esperábamos, cambiando mucho nuestros planes que previamente habíamos hecho.

     Evidently this hit us hard, and not only financially, but also sentimentally, since with that money we planned to help many people around us, especially our parents, who were our greatest concern.

     Evidentemente esto nos pegó bastante, y no solo en lo económico, sino también en lo sentimental, ya que con ese dinero pensábamos ayudar a muchas personas a nuestro alrededor, sobre todo, a nuestros padres, quienes eran nuestra mayor preocupación.

     Of course, despite this, we were not going to give up, and we became interested in other projects, which also did not turn out very well at all, at least for now, then this made us a little frustrated, it made us sad that "nothing" was going well for us, but then we reflected that, and that's why I put it in quotes, we were looking only at the bad, and we didn't realize how much we had achieved over the course of this year, how much we had grown in all aspects and how incredible we were if we looked back a year, and there we realized that that same attitude of defeat, frustration and anxiety was the one that was hurting us the most, and that this had to change immediately.

     Por supuesto que, a pesar de esto, no nos íbamos a dar por vencidos, y nos interesamos en otros proyectos, que tampoco salieron muy bien del todo, por lo menos por ahora, entonces esto nos hizo frustrarnos un poco, nos ponía tristes el hecho de “nada” nos salía bien, pero luego reflexionamos en que, y por eso lo puse entre comillas, nos estábamos fijando solo en lo malo, y no nos dábamos cuenta de todo lo que logramos en el transcurso de este año, en todo lo que hemos crecido en todos los aspectos y en lo que increíble que estábamos si miramos un año hacia atrás, y allí nos dimos cuenta de que esa misma actitud de derrotados, de frustración y de ansiedad era la que más nos estaba dañando, y que eso debía cambiar inmediatamente.

     If we got this far, why couldn't we go further, but of course, to keep moving forward we needed to change our attitude, be positive, open to opportunities, work hard and, above all, never give up. That's the important thing about being accompanied by the right person, because in moments like these when we think all is lost, a few good words of encouragement and motivation can make a big difference, because together, as a team, there is nothing that can stop us.

     Si llegamos hasta aquí, ¿por qué no podríamos llegar más lejos?, pero claro, para seguir avanzando era necesario un cambio de actitud, ser positivos, abiertos a las oportunidades, trabajar duro y, sobre todo, jamás rendirnos. Eso es lo importante de estar acompañado de la persona correcta, ya que en momentos como estos en los que pensamos que todo está perdido, unas buenas palabras de aliento y motivación pueden hacer una gran diferencia, ya que juntos, como equipo, no hay nada que nos pare.
