Prank Wars
I am not a fan of pranksters and I don't partake in anything that has to do with pulling pranks because of the emotional impact that could be most times negative but when you have a lover who has a Ph.D. in pranking people, you just have to step up your game.
While we were in school, my girlfriend pulled a pregnancy prank on me on the first of April and it was really scary. We were students and I couldn't think of becoming a dad at that point in life since I didn't want to bring a child into the world to suffer.
She was so serious and I couldn't concentrate in class for the rest of the day. I couldn't wait for lectures to end before I left school and I was lost in thought about what the future holds for us. I told her we would keep the baby if she wanted it and after a long discussion about informing our parents and others, she opened up that it was a prank to test how much I love her. I felt relieved and pissed at the same time because the joke was just too expensive for me to cope with.
The incident crossed my mind again some years later while chatting with a colleague at work. We were just talking about funny April fool pranks and I got the idea of what prank to pull on my girlfriend.
I told my colleague to put a call across to my her and pretend to be my lover, all she needed to say was that she was pregnant for me and she wanted my girlfriend to know that she's not the only lover I have.
She acted perfectly and I waited for my girlfriend's reaction but she didn't call or text me which made me restless. I tried my best not to call her immediately but I did after work just to be sure that she was okay. She didn't mention anything about the call and I played tough too.
"A lady called me that you impregnated her and I felt really disappointed but not too disappointed because I have a confession to make as well," She said to me the next day while chatting on my way to work.
"I am sorry babe, it was a mistake but it won't affect our relationship I promise. This is an issue we need to see and talk about," I replied to her and was wondering why she wasn't even angry because I know how she doesn't take anything that would affect our relationship lightly.
"I have a confession to make and hope you will find a place in your heart to forgive me," She replied and my heart started pounding hard.
"What's that?" I asked as my eyes were fixed on her typing notification.
"There is something about me that you don't know and I think this is the best time to tell you," She replied and went offline for a few minutes. I called severally but she didn't pick up.
She came back online and continued, "I have a daughter and I was scared you would stop loving me that's why I kept it away from you. She is five years of age now."
"That can't be true, it's a prank right?" I asked.
"No, it's not," She replied and sent me the picture of her and the little girl.
I was shocked by the striking resemblance and didn't believe what I was seeing.
"I didn't impregnate anyone. It was just April fool prank so don't take it personally," I opened up to her and expected the same from her but she didn't deny having a daughter.
We talked about the issue every day and I wasn't happy she hid something like that from me. The following weekend was her off day and I insisted that we talk about the issue face to face, I wanted her to say to my face that she has a daughter.
A lot was running in my mind while expecting her and surprisingly, she came with the little girl and I was speechless.
"I am deeply sorry," She apologized and tried holding me but I didn't allow her.
"Her name is Inioluwa," She said the girl's name with so much audacity.
"Are you for real?" I asked.
"How do you expect me to joke with such a thing? It's okay if you hate me now because I deserve your love," She replied.
I got emotional immediately and slowly, tears gathered in my eyes but I didn't let them pour.
"What else could she be hiding?" I pondered and wasn't myself after seeing the girl. I watched the little girl change the cable TV channel and she was really cute but that wasn't enough to take away how bad I felt.
I stepped out for a while hoping she would be gone before I returned but I met her still at my place. She pleaded to spend the night and I couldn't say no as I watched them play with each other.
The next morning, I felt too tired to get out of the couch and my girlfriend came to disturb me.
"I got you, right? Did you believe it? She's my sister's daughter in Ilorin, they came to Lagos for holiday and I decided to use her because of our resemblance. I didn't like the prank you pulled on me with your colleague. I knew it was a prank and just wanted to play your game with you," She said to me.
I was happy but didn't want to look cheap so I put up a small drama which didn't last till sunset. She spent hours apologizing and we reached an agreement not to prank each other again.

See me blushing and laughing at the end when I almost believed the daughter story. In fact, the pranker got pranked. Still confirm the story so you don't confirm much later. Good script here

Honestly, I started what I wasn't prepared for and she's indeed the boss. She is my first real relationship and I knew really less about body signs and all that.

Lolz, you truly felt it and imagine you being in my shoes. The woman I want to spend the rest of my life with has a kid for another man? Trust me if I said that a lot was playing in my head.
Hiding it from me was what pained me the most and I felt relieved knowing it was a prank.

Fell is an understatement because I broke into pieces with the prank, I couldn't stop thinking about my love having a daughter and I didn't know about it.

My heart was pounding heavily that night and I knew I had to take things easy on myself. I actually slept off while lost in thought and when I knew it was a prank, I felt relieved.
We agreed not to play such again, it's really not a healthy prank.
She has a PhD in pranks honestly. I believed her initially before reading the concluding part of the story. Some people are damn good in pranking.

Don't prank a true prankster. Your girlfriend outclassed you with that prank by "producing" a look-alike child not just a pregnancy. Pranks can indeed cause emotional wreckage then the fun of April Fool's day becomes a lot more serious.
It is good that the matter was settled happily and you will not prank each other again.
