Here I am here again, as always my disappearance is due to college, but at least I had a chance to do this beautiful makeup plus an edit that I feel came out better than I expected. I really liked the play of light, the filter I put on it and the flowers inspired by the flower of hell.
For a long time I wanted to do a makeup of this flower with this Japanese style (although I lacked the kimono, I hope I can do one soon) and well, I wanted to give it those vibes of passion, strength and sensuality due to the color of the Higanbana. For those who don't know about it, here I will tell you a little bit about it. I don't know if those people who have seen or watch anime have observed in some episodes or in openings like, for example: In Tokyo Ghoul where in the opening is reflected a garden of them.

This beautiful flower from hell originally called Higanbana (ヒガンバナ), the flower that symbolizes death, grief, reunion, change and longing or also known by its scientific name Lycoris radiata is the Japanese name for the spider lily, a beautiful flower considered the symbol of autumn equinox in Japan. "Higan" means the other world and "bana" is flower. Higanbana has many names such as "Shibitobana (flower of the dead)" or "Manjushage". Since its bulbs are poisonous, it was planted in cemeteries to prevent animals from eating the dead. Since the flower and leaves of this plant never grow at the same time, it also symbolizes people who cannot get together and remain apart, such as lovers.

In Japan, this flower has other meanings such as "sad remembrance", "resignation" and "reunion". It also signifies the pain of loss and longing, as well as rebirth. As its name is linked to Buddhism, many associate this flower to be a kind of portal or connect to the other world, where it invites to think of those who are on their way or return from death find it and therefore, the Higanbana is considered the lily of resurrection, as it addresses death as a change, the detachment of something of oneself or person, or the end of a stage of our lives.

Despite being associated with death, it represents positive concepts such as "change", although this usually goes hand in hand with painful processes. An interesting characteristic of this exotic flower is that the leaves and the flower never appear at the same time, this separation of processes feeds the legend that it is about two lovers in love. Buddhists say that a great river divides the world of the living and the departed.

For this reason I wanted to do a make-up plus the photos, inspired by this beautiful flower, its meaning is very deep and I feel that at this stage of my life I am having a positive change due to the new opportunities that are presenting themselves to me and that I know will present themselves to me in the future and what a nice way to represent it with this photo shoot with this style.

Heme aquí otra vez por aquí, como siempre mi desaparición es por la universidad, pero al menos tuve un chance de realizar este hermoso maquillaje más una edición que siento que me salió mejor de lo que esperaba. Me gustó bastante el juego de luces, el filtro que le coloqué y las flores inspiradas en la flor del infierno.

Desde hace mucho quise realizar un maquillaje de esta flor con este estilo japonés (aunque me faltara el kimono, espero poder hacerme uno pronto) y bueno, quise darle esas vibras de pasión, fuerza y sensualidad debido al color de la Higanbana. Para quienes no sepan de ella, aquí les hablaré un poco. No sé si aquellas personas que han visto o ven anime han observado en algunos episodios o en openings como, por ejemplo: En Tokyo Ghoul donde en el opening sale reflejada un jardín de ellas.

Esta bella flor del infierno llamada originalmente Higanbana (ヒガンバナ), la flor que simboliza la muerte, el dolor, reencuentro, cambio y la añoranza o también conocida por su nombre científico Lycoris radiata es el nombre japonés del lirio de la araña, una hermosa flor considerada el símbolo equinoccio de otoño en Japón. "Higan" significa el otro mundo y "bana" es flor. Higanbana tiene muchos nombres como "Shibitobana (flor de los muertos)" o "Manjushage". Ya que sus bulbos son venenosos, era plantada en cementerios para evitar que los animales comieran a los muertos. Ya que la flor y las hojas de esta planta nunca crecen al mismo tiempo, también simboliza a las personas que no pueden juntarse y permanecen separadas, como los enamorados.

En Japón, esta flor tiene otros significados como "recuerdo triste", "resignación" y "reencuentro". También significa el dolor de la pérdida y el anhelo, así como el renacer. Como su nombre está ligado al budismo, muchos asocian a esta flor a ser una especie de portal o conectarse al otro mundo, donde invita a pensar en aquellos que van camino o regresan de la muerte la encuentran y por ello, la Higanbana es considerada el lirio de la resurrección, pues aborda la muerte como un cambio, el desprenderse de algo de uno mismo u persona, o el término de una etapa de nuestras vidas.

A pesar de estar asociada con la muerte representa conceptos positivos como el «cambio», aunque esto suele ir de la mano, con procesos dolorosos. Una característica interesante de esta exótica flor, es que las hojas y la flor nunca aparecen al mismo tiempo, esta separación de procesos alimenta la leyenda de que se trata de dos amantes enamorados. Los budistas dicen que un gran río divide al mundo de los vivos y los que ya se fueron.

Por este motivo quise realizar un maquillaje más las fotos, inspiradas en esta bella flor, su significado es muy profundo y siento que en esta etapa de mi vida estoy teniendo un cambio positivo debido a las nuevas oportunidades que se me están presentando y que sé que se me presentaran a futuro y que bonita manera de representarlo con esta sesión de fotos con este estilo.
