Hello to all my readers! I hope you are feeling well, today I bring you the process of this drawing of Beth Harmon's character in the series The Queen's Gambit starring Anya Taylor-Joy. I hope you like it and I invite you to read me! 🧡✨

Materiales/Materials

• Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores, un lapicero negro y un marcador negro.

• What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors, a black pen and a black marker.

Comencé realizando el boceto, quería que se viera un poco más realista pero tarde mucho en buscarla la forma y solo lo hice a mi estilo. Delinee el dibujo con naranja y fui ubicando las sombras con azul claro y rosa para cambiar la saturación del azul. Continúe usando color durazno y usé el naranja para ir cubriendo la mayor parte de la piel, con marrón y rojo pinte sus labios y con el rojo mezclado con naranja hice el rubor, con marrón y azul oscuro pinte sus cejas y mezclando gris, blanco, rosa y rojo hice el interior de sus ojos, con el marcador negro pinte sus pupilas y con marrón pinté el ojo. Ya por último pinte su chaqueta con el marcador negro.

I started making the sketch, I wanted it to look a little more realistic but it took me a long time to find the shape and I just did it in my own style. I outlined the drawing with orange and placed the shadows with light blue and pink to change the saturation of the blue. I continued using peach color and used orange to cover most of the skin, with brown and red I painted her lips and with red mixed with orange I made the blush, with brown and dark blue I painted her eyebrows and mixing gray, white, pink and red I made the inside of her eyes, with the black marker I painted her pupils and with brown I painted the eye. Finally I painted her jacket with the black marker.

Al tener parte del rostro terminado comencé a pintar su cabello, haciendo un degradado con marrón, naranja y amarillo mostaza para el brillo. Agregué pestañas con el lapicero y agregué más detalle y profundidad en los lugares oscuros. Al terminar de pintar su cabello pinte su suéter dentro de su chaqueta mezclando un amarillo claro y naranja para las líneas del suéter ya que este es tejido.

Once I had part of the face finished I started painting her hair, making a gradient with brown, orange and mustard yellow for the shine. I added eyelashes with the pencil and added more detail and depth in the dark places. When I finished painting her hair I painted her sweater inside her jacket mixing a light yellow and orange for the lines of the sweater since it is knitted.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, terminada la mayor parte del dibujo finalice pintando su gorro tejido haciendo patrones con color azul claro y oscureciendo algunas líneas con azul oscuro para hacer los detalles del tejido, pinte con marcador negro unas piezas de ajedrez y hice un delineado alrededor con marcador azul. Me ví está serie muchísimas veces y es una de mis series favoritas hasta ahora, siento que el personaje tenia muchísima historia y personalidad y la actuación de mi actriz preferida Anya fue totalmente increíble dándole más vida a este personaje. 🧡✨

This is the result of the drawing, once I finished most of the drawing I finished painting her knitted hat making patterns with light blue color and darkening some lines with dark blue to make the details of the fabric, I painted with black marker some chess pieces and made an outline around it with blue marker. I watched this series many times and it is one of my favorite series so far, I feel that the character had a lot of history and personality and the performance of my favorite actress Anya was totally amazing giving more life to this character. 🧡✨
