A Wholesome Day

Hello Foodies,

My Monday was a wholesome day completely and I enjoyed every bit of it and the best thing out of this is I didn't get tired all the day since morning to midnight. I had to record 2-3 recipes yesterday along with handling the guests of my hubby who were coming over for 2 hours only. The day started with the yummiest Paratha with Omelette then I washed the dishes and cleaned the entire house. This only took my 2 hours from having breakfast to clean the house.

The first thing I had to do is making green chutney and stored in the freezer because we brought a lot of mint and coriander leaves which start to rotten in 2 days so I had to make immediate green chutney for later use. I just washed mint and cilantro leaves to remove all the sands and put everything into the blender to blend nicely. Then I poured into a silicon mould to make cubes out of it.

After all of this, the first thing I have to make is to prepare dessert for guests who were coming over late night. I made a quick dessert for them that is known as Lotus 3 Milk Cake which took only half an hour to make then I put in the fridge to set it completely. I will soon share its recipe over here for sure.

Now I had to make Chicken Lasagna for them in advance so that I can only bake when they come at our place. I didn't take a good picture of it because I didn't realise that I will post my routine here. Well, I have this one when the lasagne dish were in the oven. The guests enjoyed both dishes a lot. Beside, I fried Chicken Nuggets and Mini Samosas along with tea.
