PORTRAIT OF A HORSE IN BLACK CARDBOARD [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, I hope that everyone is very well. Today I want to share with you a drawing that I made about a horse in black cardboard. I tried to do it in a photographic style but sometimes there are limits that cannot be overcome in the first attempts. Horses are very noble animals, they have been friends of men and have accompanied them throughout civilization, especially wars, a symbol of strength and vitality throughout the world, the horse is a highly respected animal. Hola amigos, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien yo hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un dibujo que hice acerca de un caballo en cartulina de color negro. Traté de hacerlo con un estilo fotográfico pero a veces hay límites que no se pueden superar en los primeros intentos. Los caballos son animales muy nobles, han sido amigos de los hombres y lo han acompañado a lo largo de la civilización, especialmente las guerras, símbolo de fuerza y vitalidad el caballo a lo largo del mundo es un animal muy respetado. PROCESS

This time I did not use any kind of sketch so as an adventurer on horseback I started where I thought best, so first I made the figure of a horse like when we used to draw as a child. After having made the shape of the hair, I begin to add important details to the interior of the face, such as the most visible eye and also the nose and ears..

En esta oportunidad no usé ninguna clase de boceto así que como un aventurero a caballo inicié por donde mejor me pareció, así que primero hice la figura de un caballo como cuando dibujábamos de niño. Después haber hecho la forma del cabello comienzo a agregar detalles importantes al interior del rostro, como el ojo más visible y también la nariz y orejas.

As I mentioned before, I started to draw the important parts of the face of the hair, in this way I made the strokes so that the details were very realistic. To make the effect of reflection of light more intense, I used a white charcoal color and thus it was making the strokes on the edges of the drawing, then from there it was starting towards the center of the drawing little by little.

Como mencioné anteriormente, comencé a dibujar la spartes importantes del rostro del cabello, de esta manera hice los trazos para que los detalles quedaran muy realistas. Para hacer el efecto de reflejo de luz más intenso, utilicé un color blanco de carboncillo y así fue haciendo los trazos en los bordes del dibujo, luego de ahi fue partiendo hacia el centro del dibujo poco a poco.

The next step was to draw the horse's fur little by little in the entire area of ​​the face, there is a part that I like about horses and it is their muscles at face level, actually horses have super developed muscles to run fast and those big distances, so I really enjoyed being able to paint this part and give him those muscular details.

El siguiente paso fue dibujar poco a pocoel pelaje del caballo en toda la zona del rostro, hay una parte que me gusta de los caballos y son sus músculos a nivel del rostro, en realidad los caballos tienen músculos super desarrollados para correr rápido y esas grandes distancias, así que disfruté mucho poder pintar esta parte y hacerle esos detalles musculares.

The next step I start to tone the horse's coat, a brown tone almost similar to the color of the brick, so I started first with a terracotta red base but not before first putting a layer of white, without painting the corresponding areas to the muscles.

El paso siguiente comienzo a darle tono al pelaje del caballo, un tono marrón casi semejante al color del ladrillo, así que comencé primero con una base de color rojo terracota no sin antes poner primero una capa de color blanco, sin pintar las zonas que corresponde a los músculos.

Finally, I added more colors of a brown tone to make a different contrast, this to play with the influence of light, which in the dark shows many forms in colors. I also used the dark brown color and also the black color to better make the strokes for the veins that the horse has on its face through which the blood from its muscles circulates. I also used it to paint part of the nostrils, and the shadows of her long hair. In this way I finished the drawing of the horse.

PAra finalizar agregué más colores de un tono café para hacer un contraste diferente, esto para jugar con la influencia de la luz quien en la oscuridad muestra muchas formas en colores. También utilicé el color marrón oscuro y también el color negro para hacer mejor los trazos para las venas que tiene el caballo en el rostro por donde circula la sangre de sus músculos. También lo utilicé para pintar parte de los hoyos de la nariz, y las sombras de sus largos cabellos. De esta manera di por finalizado el dibujo del caballo.

FINAL WORK

In the final details I refined the hair that falls over the eyes, which is usually very fine, I did not want to make it so long so that you could see his more visible eyes better, as I mentioned before I concentrated a lot on the muscles since I think which is the biggest attraction of these beautiful animals. So this beautiful horse was finished, I hope you liked it, the black cardboard is a good surface for photographic effects, the secret is always to intensify the white colors in contrast to the dark colors and shadows. En los detalles finales afiné mejor el cabello que cae encima de los ojos, que suele ser muy fino, no lo quise hacer tan largo para que se pudiera ver mejor su ojo más visibles, como mencioné antes me concentré mucho en los músculos ya que pienso que es el atractivo más grande estos hermoso animales. Así pues quedó finalizado este hermoso caballo, espero que les haya gustado, la cartulina negra es una buena superficie para hacer efectos fotográficos, el secreto esta siempre en intensificar los colores blancos en contrastes con los colores oscuros y las sombras.
