BOBA FETT (STAR WARS), SCULPTURE MADE WITH SODA CANS [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, I hope you are feeling very well, today I want to share with you a sculpture that I have made of the figure of the most famous bounty hunter in the galaxy far, far away, it is Boba Fett from the Star Wars franchise, more than a year ago. year I made my first sculpture of this type, based on the new Disney series, this time I made the classic design of the first trilogy, especially in Return of the Jedi, where he appears in his old outfits. The sculpture is made entirely with cans and has a size of 30 centimeters, I made each of the details so that it would be very realistic, I share with you the step by step briefly.

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una escultura que he realizado de la figura del caza recompensas más famoso de la galaxia muy muy lejana, se trata de Boba Fett de la franquicia Star Wars, hace más de un año hice mi primera escultura de este tipo, basada en las nuevas series de Disney, en esta oportunidad he realizado el diseño clásico de la primera trilogía, especialmente en el Retorno del Jedi, donde sale con sus antiguos atuendos. La escultura esta realizada enteramente con latas y tiene un tamaño de 30 centímetros, hice cada uno de los detalles para que me quedara muy realista, comparto con ustedes el paso a paso de manera breve.

I always save the templates, because I always think that I may need them later, just with a few variations you can make many models. I used the old templates to make the patterns on the can, starting first from the shoes, which are one of those pieces that catch my attention the most.

Yo siempre guardo las plantillas, porque siempre pienso que las puedo necesitar mas adelante, solo con unas variaciones se pueden hacer muchos modelos. Utilicé las antiguas plantillas para hacer los patrones sobre la lata, comenzando en primer lugar desde los zapatos, que es una de esas piezas que más llaman mi atención.

Next, with the other templates I make the legs, arms and torso. I am putting them in order from the base to the head so that it is easier to assemble piece by piece using the glue.

Seguidamente con las demás plantillas voy haciendo las piernas, los brazos y el torso. Los voy poniendo el orden desde la base hacia la cabeza para que sea más fácil de armar pieza por pieza utilizando el pegamento.

As I expressed previously, I began to join each of the pieces with glue, first the shoes with the legs, then the torso and finally the arms. I left it drying for several days so that the body would be very strong and so it would not be damaged when I had to make the uniform.

Como expresé anteriormente comencé a unir cada una de las piezas con pegamento, en primero lugar los zapatos con las piernas, luego el torso y por último los brazos. Dejé secando varios días para que el cuerpo quedara bien fuerte y así no se estropeara cuando tuviera que hacerle el uniforme.

I made the uniform with dark gray fabric, it was the one I found, because in the original design the tone is a little lighter. I made the armor with synthetic leather, first I made the part that protects the chest, then the knee pads, the belt, the small pockets and also the shoulder pads. To make the uniform I took the measurements of the figure in centimeters and then drew them as a pattern, so I took out all the pieces.

Hice el uniforme con tela de color gris oscuro, fue la que encont´re, porque en el diseño original el tono es un poco más claro. La armadura la hice con cuero sintético, hice primero la parte que protege el pecho, luego las rodilleras, el cinturón, los pequeños bolsillos y también las hombreras. Para hacer el uniforme tomé las medidas de la figura en centímetros y luego las dibujé como un patrón, así saque todas las piezas.

Then I started with the rest of the accessories, I made the bracelets with red tin and then glued them on the arms. Afterwards I made a paint mixture and with a brush I painted the entire part of the armor in a dark green tone, as well as the entire belt with the colors of the original design. Lastly, I painted the shoes. When I picked up the figure, I was impressed by how I felt it came to life due to its realism.

Después comencé con el retso de accesorios, hice los brazaletes con lata de color rojo y luego los pegué en los brazos. Despues hice una mezcla de pintura y con un pincel fui pintando de un tono verde oscuro toda la parte de la armadura, así como también todo el cinturón con los colores del diseño original. Por último pinte los zapatos, al levantar la figura quedé impresionado de como sentí que cobró vida por el realismo.

I also made the helmet using the templates I had saved, like last time I made the Mandalorian, this time I made some modifications to make Boba Fett's, I wanted to paint the helmet with the same colors, but then I thought it was better to leave it with the color of the can, thus there is testimony of the material I used to make this sculpture. In the same way I made the Jetpack, the device that Boba Fett uses to make big jumps and move when he is attacking. The design is very simple, it only consists of a square with 3 tubes, and in the middle of the tube a tip protrudes in the shape of a rocket.

Hice el casco también usando las plantillas que tenía guardadas, como la vez pasada hice al Mandaloriano, esta vez hice unas modificaciones para hacer el de Boba Fett, quise pintar el casco con los mismos colores, pero luego pensé que era mejor dejarlo con el color de la lata, así queda testimonio del material que utilicé para hacer esta escultura. De la misma forma hice el Jetpack, el aparato que usa Boba Fett para dar grandes saltos y desaplazarse cuando está atacando. El diseño es muy simple, solo consta de un cuadrado con 3 tubos, y en el medio del tubo sobresale una punta con la forma de un cohete.

Lastly I made the hands, one of the hardest parts to make because of how small the pieces are. I also made the plasma weapon that Boba Fett uses in his hunts and finally the aged poncho, let's not forget that he is a bounty hunter, and George Lucas said that he was inspired by Clint Eastwood when he acted in the movie The Good, The Bad and The ugly one. Lastly, I added a base to place the figure on and thus my work was finished.

Por último hice las manos, uno de las partes que más trabajo cuesta hacer por lo pequeñas que son las piezas. También hice el arma de plasma que utiliza Boba Fett en sus cacerías y por último el poncho todo envejecido, no olvidemos que es un caza recompensas, y Goerge Lucas dijo que se inspiró en Clint Eastwood cuando actúo en la película El Bueno, El malo y El feo. De último lugar agregué una base donde colocar la figura y así quedó finalizado mi trabajo.

I really enjoyed doing this work, my concentration was at its maximum, although I had to pause from time to time to do other things, it took me 2 weeks to finish it, I used a total of 25 aluminum cans and I found the rest of the materials easily. Disfruté mucho hacer este trabajo, mi concentración estuvo al máximo, aunque tenía que darle pausa de vez en cuando para hacer otras cosas, me llevó 2 semanas poder terminarlo, utilicé en total 25 latas de aluminio y el resto de materiales los encontré facilmente. Espero que les haya gustado, se que este personaje tiene muchos fanáticos, y ahora con las nuevas series como el Mandaloriano, su personaje ha crecido aun más, yo espero que lo hayan disfrutado, no olviden comentar que les ha parecido.
