Cuatro Electric Chill Session | Water in Eb Major

Hoy traigo una melodía que se me grabó en la mente al salir a la calle y al volver a casa la grabé en el teléfono para luego grabarla aquí en la pc.

Quería algo de balada, con waves y obviamente Jazz, la melodía principal es sencilla pero a mi me pareció algo bonito con inspiración, quería recrear un contexto quizás íntimo con sonidos frescos.

Esta vez en el mixing del Cuatro eléctrico lo que hago es darle el efecto de Midi de Rhodes pero no completamente, solo un poco más de la mitad, así genero un doble sonido en uno, el natural del Cuatro y el del Rhodes, además agrego reverb y delay para que tenga más cuerpo y una ecualización con un brillo que me gusta mantener para que no decaiga el protagonismo de la melodía.

Luego agregué unas voces, primero un fragmento con armonías y luego backing vocals para darle ese ambiente atmosférico que tanto me gusta usar.

Today I bring a melody that stuck in my mind when I went out on the street and when I came back home I recorded it on my phone and then I recorded it here on the pc.

I wanted something of ballad, with waves and obviously Jazz, the main melody is simple but I found something nice with inspiration, I wanted to recreate a perhaps intimate context with fresh sounds.

This time in the mixing of the electric Cuatro what I do is to give the effect of Midi Rhodes but not completely, just a little more than half, so I generate a double sound in one, the natural sound of the Cuatro and the Rhodes, I also add reverb and delay to have more body and an equalization with a brightness that I like to keep so that the protagonism of the melody does not decay.

Then I added some vocals, first a fragment with harmonies and then backing vocals to give it that atmospheric atmosphere that I like to use so much.
