Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

The name kind of sucks. I'm sure they could have though of something better than “Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2”. But everything even seems too perfect to be true! One might think “does it have online play this time?” The answer is: yes, it does!

Besides including everything from the originals in astonishing 4K graphics, the gameplay is faithful, fluid and unmodified from the tried-and-true formula that has made the game so successful (including in the first remake).

The game's best remaster yet is made by Vicarious Visions, the people behind Crash Bandicoot Remastered 2017, which means these guys will, 100% guaranteed, deliver everything announcements have promised.

Availability

TH1+2 will be released on September 4 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. But not on Steam! Only Epic Games Store will the PC version, which is a huge disappointment to me.

If it runs on my computer, you can bet I will buy it. I'm a big fan of the series. But sadly enough, I never completed the career mode to unlock Spider-Man in TH2. Maybe this will be my chance to try it? Ugh, companies never cooperate anymore.

The graphics look really good. Had the original on my PS1 all those years ago.

Me too. Solo or with a friend, it was a beast to play.

I'm genuinely excited. I miss the old, PS1 Tony Hawk games! Maybe I can talk my wife into getting this release for me for Christmas!

All of the other skateboard games like Session and Skater are good in their own right, but they're no replacement!
