A guided tour of the Castle of San Antonio de la Eminencia de Cumaná [ESP/ENG]

Un saludo, mi querida comunidad @lifestyle y a todos lo que hacen vida en esta linda plataforma, esta vez les comparto una visita a un lugar lleno de mucha historia ubicado en la ciudad de Cumaná, estado Sucre, conocido como el Castillo de San Antonio de la Eminencia, además desde allí se observa una magnífica perspectiva muy hermosa de la ciudad.

Greetings, my dear community @lifestyle and all who make life in this beautiful platform, this time I share with you a visit to a place full of history located in the city of Cumaná, Sucre state, known as the Castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia, also from there you can see a magnificent and beautiful perspective of the city.

Esta vez tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar de una visita guiada por personas muy capacitadas y conocedoras de toda la historia que alberga este gran fuerte, entre esta pude documentarme de diversos acontecimientos históricos que ocurrieron dentro de este castillo, entre ellos que sirvió como cárcel para el General José Antonio Páez, quien fue presidente de Venezuela por 2 periodos y tuvimos acceso al lugar o celda donde estuvo preso por muchos años con orificios muy reducidos por donde podía entrar muy poca luz y ventilación

This time I had the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour by very skilled and knowledgeable people of all the history that houses this great fort, between this I could document various historical events that occurred within this castle, including that served as a prison for General Jose Antonio Paez, who was president of Venezuela for 2 periods and had access to the place or cell where he was imprisoned for many years with very small holes where he could enter very little light and ventilation.

Este castillo aunque fue construido en el siglo XVII, se conserva muy bien y forma parte de los atractivos turísticos de mi ciudad y es muy visitado por turistas que ademas de venir a conocer un poco de nuestra historia, también se pueden captar muy buenas imágenes y deleitarse con la vista panorámica donde se observa gran parte de la ciudad. aunque he tenido la oportunidad de visitarlo en otras oportunidades esta fue la primera vez que tuve acceso a varios lugares dentro del castillo que no conocía, como también pude compartir el recorrido con un grupo de turistas que se encontraban en el lugar, provenientes de otra ciudad.

Although this castle was built in the seventeenth century, it is very well preserved and is part of the tourist attractions of my city and is very visited by tourists who besides coming to know a little of our history, you can also capture very good images and enjoy the panoramic view where you can see much of the city. Although I have had the opportunity to visit on other occasions this was the first time I had access to several places inside the castle that I did not know, as I could also share the tour with a group of tourists who were in the place, coming from another city.
