I was given a chocolate jar and after eating it :D I liked the jar to keep some things. So I said to myself: "Let's paint it!
I'm going to tell you the step by step of how I painted this jar to keep my lemon balm leaves.

These are the materials:

Glass jar.
Children's oil (you won't need much).
Acrylic paints.
Fine brush.

Me regalaron un frasco de chocolate y luego de comerlo :D me gustó el frasco para guardar algunas cosas. Me dije entonces: “¡Vamos a pintarlo!”.
Te voy a contar el paso a paso de cómo pinté este frasco para luego guardar mis hojitas de toronjil.

Estos son los materiales:

Frasco de vidrio.
Aceite para niños (no necesitarás mucho).
Pinturas acrílicas.
Pincel fino.

Before we start we are going to remove the label from the glass jar. Sometimes it can be a hassle, because it doesn't quite peel off the label. That's what children's oil is for.

You're going to add a few drops of oil all over the label. Sometimes it comes off quickly, but I usually leave it overnight, so that the label is well impregnated with the oil and the label comes off easily. After peeling off the label, wash the bottle with dishwashing soap so that the surface is not greasy.

Antes de empezar vamos a quitarle la etiqueta al frasco de vidrio. A veces puede ser un fastidio, porque no se despega del todo la etiqueta. Para eso es el aceite de niños.

Vas a agregar unas gotitas de aceite sobre toda la etiqueta. A veces despega rápido, pero suelo dejarlo de un día para otro, para que la etiqueta se impregne bien del aceite y se despegue la etiqueta con facilidad. Luego de despegar la etiqueta lava el frasco con jabón de lavar platos para que no quede grasosa la superficie.

Acá ves el frasco listo para pintar, sin etiqueta.

I prepare the mix of colors in my palette. I will make some daisies, so I will need yellow, white and green colors.

Preparo la mezcla de colores en mi paleta. Realizaré unas margaritas, por lo cual necesitaré colores amarillo, blanco y verde.

I start with the white color, make the petals of each flower and place them randomly around the whole bottle.

Empiezo con el color blanco, realizo los pétalos de cada flor y las ubico al azar alrededor de todo el frasco.

Then with the yellow color I paint the center area of each flower. You can already see some very pretty daisies.

Luego con el color amarillo pinto el área del centro de cada flor. Ya se aprecian unas margaritas muy lindas.

For the green leaves, I prepare the mixture of yellow with blue.

Para las hojas verdes, preparo la mezcla de amarillo con azul.

I start adding leaves to each of the little flowers.

It turned out very nice, no one can say otherwise.

Empiezo a agregar hojas a cada una de las florecitas.

Ha quedado muy lindo, nadie puede decir lo contrario.

I added my lemon balm leaves.

Agregué mis hojitas de toronjil.

I did a photo session to the bottle because it has turned out very cool :D

Le hice una sesión de fotos al frasco pues ha quedado muy chulo :D

I decided to paint another jar I had in storage, this one will be a gift :)

Me animé a pintar otro frasco que tenía guardado, este será para regalarlo :)

I gave one of the jars with lemon balm leaves as a gift, it is a very nice detail. They received it with great affection.
