Hello dear Hive Open Mic friends. This Week 102 we are Touching Souls thanks to our friend @digitalopus, that's why I present to you this Venezuelan music, in the good Foxtrot style, by the master Antonio Carrillo (1892 - 1926), it is "El Saltarin". Maestro Carrillo was a Venezuelan musician who stood out as one of the greatest exponents of traditional music from Lara. He was also an excellent performer of bowed instruments, plectrum, piano, composer, instrumentalist and director of classical and popular groups. "El Saltarin" was originally composed to be played on the Mandolin, master Carrillo's favorite instrument. On this occasion, I bring you a Version with the Bandola Oriental of 8 strings (4 double orders) with a simple accompaniment of the Piano performed by me. son @sebastianpadilla. I just hope it's to your liking.
Hola queridos amigos de Hive Open Mic. Esta Semana 102 estamos Tocando Almas gracias a nuestro amigo @digitalopus, por eso les presento esta música venezolana, al buen estilo Foxtrot, del maestro Antonio Carrillo (1892 - 1926), se trata de "El Saltarin". El maestro Carrillo fue un músico venezolano que destacó como uno de los máximos exponentes de la música tradicional larense. Además fue un excelente ejecutante de instrumentos de arco, de plectro, piano, compositor, instrumentista y director de agrupaciones de porte clásico y popular. "El Saltarin" fue compuesto, originalmente, para ser tocado en la Mandolina, instrumento predilecto del maestro Carrillo. En esta oportunidad, les traigo una Versión con la Bandola Oriental de 8 cuerdas (4 ordenes dobles) con un sencillo acompañamiento del Piano realizado por mi hijo @sebastianpadilla. Solo espero que sea del agrado de ustedes.
