Hive Learners Weather Experience Contest For Week 18 1st edition

As one of the most interesting in this community is contest organized by team members of the hive learner’s community. It very essential as it helps us know about what’s really going on around the globe.

It in turns earn you some rewards as well.
In this article, I will share my weather experience so far in Nigeria. I currently base in a northern state in Nigeria. Its called “Lafia”
Lafia simply implies it is well.

Weather condition
The weather condition in Lafia is a sunny at noon and a bit cool at morning.

The last time I experienced a rainfall was at night within late hours of 12pm -3pm two weeks ago. The rainfall was so heavy such that it pulled out some house roof that weren’t properly a bit pulled out.

It fell so intense and heavy that appeared to be ice block falling on roof top. When it rains at night, it is better than when it rains in the day.
I really recall an experienced I faced with the rainfall that started at early hours of the morning. It rained from 6am – 10am. All activities such as riders of bike or motorcycle where put on hold due to the fact or unavailability of motor cycle.

People who got no car has to take permission from the place of work for reason for not appearing early at work place due to intense rainfall.

Here in Lafia city, short distance movement is not really common with vehicles. Vehicles are for long distance journey but with a tricycle and a motorcycle you can get to your destination on time.

How About Recently?
Recently there has not been much of rainfall but a temperate weather usually cooling the morning and hot at noon in a temperate form. The sky appears blue with some clouds over it.
