Spring Weather Crazy……My Actifit Report Card: March 12 2024

Mother Nature was at it again today. It rained or maybe I should say poured to the point of wondering if a boat was needed! Towards the afternoon, the skies were filled with dark cumulonimbus clouds and spots of sunshine here and there. At one point it was raining with full on sunshine. My grandma always said such instances of rain and sunshine together was an indication that the devil was getting married. Hmmmm……🧐

Then later on, we got some mini hail as you see in the first picture. Spring is definitely having growing pains, lol! Beginning Thursday, we should see the rain diminished and the temperatures will begin their uphill climb. As of right now for Saturday, they are calling for a high of 70! 🙀 That’s more like summertime temperatures! The temperatures remain balmy all the way through next Tuesday and after that, they’re still kind of warmish but not as warm previously. It’s going to give a burst of growth to all the plants in the forest and I suspect folks will be itching to get out in the garden. However, this is the Northwest and things can change on a dime due to oceanic influence. 🙃

I awoke with one of those head banger headaches this morning. I noticed in my Fitbit stats that in the middle of the night, my heart rate spiked to 112 bpm which coincided with a dream I was having where I was being threatened with a gun that would burn you like a cigarette lighter would. Craziness!

We ended up with an unexpected run to Bellingham to the UPS store to do an Amazon return on a gate opener I’d ordered. You don’t get your money back until they scan the return in. Consequently, since we were in Bellingham anyway, we went to Costco to get the items there that we were out of. Coffee on the way home and then I settled in for insurance verifications for both Wednesday and Thursday.
