"Hi...Dave."

"Did you know that tarantulas are pretty much harmless? It's true! Their venom is way too weak to kill humans generally. They make pretty good pets too. They're like eight-legged puppies almost -"

"Dave, I've been on this team building hike that you insisted on for 2 hours now and that's 2 hours more than I have the patience for. I'm sweaty, starving and angry so If you have a point, please get to it. Quickly."

"Really? Oh. Well, uh... just think how happy you would be if there was a little puppy in your hair right now..."

The idea for this one came to me when my husband started telling me some fun facts about tarantulas the other day so there is no random word this time. This story actually reminds me of something but I can't quite put my finger on what. Whatever it is, I really enjoyed writing it and I hope you had fun reading it too.
