Changing My Bike Tube

Getting a flat tire is something that every rider or driver really hates especially if they are away from any workshop or if they are in a hurry. Sometimes getting a flat tire during high-speed travel can result in a catastrophic accident.

That was what happened to me sometime ago on my way to my parent's house. It was raining and I could feel the bike movement was not so smooth. I had to stop a few times to check the bike tire, yet it was still good, at first I thought I was because it needs more air pressure.

Not until a few Kilometers away from the first time I feel a bad movement on my bike then the tire finally give it away, it was a bit hard to control and I need to slowed down my bike.

I kept on riding it, because I remember the nearby workshop to fix the tire, moreover it was raining, so I decided to just keep on going rather than pushing my bike under the rain because my weight definitely give more pressure on the already damaged tire.

I had to wait a bit as when I arrived at the workshop because the owner and the technician is still fixing another bike. Well at least it is getting fixed, I am happy to just sit and wait rather than pushing my bike in the rain. :)

That is what happens to my tube, the actual hole is not that big, but its the trick from the lady to show that my tube is already thin and it needs to be changed.

The kid is helping his parents to clean up the mess, and also collecting the equipment used. he is such a good boy, smile at me a few time, and is shy when I want to take his picture.

It cost me around $5 to change the tube. This is the standard price for a new tube plus the service fee to change the tube around here.
