Qué gusto estar una semana más compartiendo música con todos ustedes. En esta ocasión decidí traer un tema de un artista que admiro mucho por su forma de componer y transmitir su arte. Hablo de Alex Ferreira y en esta ocasión su hermosa canción titulada "Esa canción".

It’s such a pleasure to spend another week sharing music with all of you. This time, I decided to feature a song by an artist I greatly admire for the way he composes and conveys his art. I’m talking about Alex Ferreira, and this time, his beautiful song titled “Esa canción.”

Curiosamente esta es una canción que ya había intentado grabar hace un tiempo. Creo que para el antiguo Vibes. Sin embargo en aquel momento, por alguna razón no me terminaba de sentir del todo cómodo con la interpretación o la vibra que estaba logrando con ella así que la dejé descansar hasta hoy que decidí retomarla y sin duda, la experiencia fue completamente diferente y la sentí fluir de una manera muy natural logrando conectarme muchísimo con su letra y su melancolía. Creo que las canciones al igual que los procesos personales a veces solo necesitan el momento correcto.

Interestingly, this is a song I had already tried to record a while back. I think it was for the old Vibes. However, at that time, for some reason, I didn’t quite feel comfortable with the performance or the vibe I was achieving with it, so I set it aside until today, when I decided to revisit it. Without a doubt, the experience was completely different—I felt it flow very naturally, and I was able to connect deeply with the lyrics and their melancholy. I think songs, just like personal journeys, sometimes just need the right moment.

Esta canción es una joya de la composición minimalista y melancólica y es que en la manera que está estructurada musicalmente nos envuelve en una atmósfera de intimidad y nostalgia, lo que explica perfectamente por qué requiere un momento de madurez o comodidad para interpretarla. Y es que en sí la canción no busca la complejidad técnica en sus acordes creo que va mucho más a la efectividad emocional que el cantante pueda ofrecer.

This song is a gem of minimalist and melancholic composition; the way it’s musically structured envelops us in an atmosphere of intimacy and nostalgia, which perfectly explains why it requires a moment of maturity or comfort to perform it. The song itself doesn’t seek technical complexity in its chords I think it focuses much more on the emotional impact the singer can convey.
