Congratulations!!! You finally got that free pass to get out of Suriname!
My opinion (which counts for nothing) is to go to the US and see family. Once you get to the other side of the world, you just won't. Life is so short and you are so close. You are going to be separated anyway and I am sure it wouldn't be a wasted trip!

I am leaning towards going to the USA for what might be a last visit. I think you're right, and we can't count on having immigration success in the next year or two. I would've flown to the USA and returned to Suriname to leave together, but our Suriname visa is expired, so I can leave but can't return.
