and i'm not kidding - i saw this comment and came to this post and now i'm all salivating again.
i can feel the crunch of the cole slaw - and the tang of the sauce making that tingle in the side/back of your tongue hehehehe
oh man - the saltiness of the fries... hahahaha i want it all right now!!!!!!!!!
and yes - we did have bbq for our family, even though we were in the northeast too - but that's cuz my family's cooking roots came from the south hahahahaha
and when we came across country to cali - we stopped many places along the way and always tried new bbq hahahahahaha so so so fun!!!!

I love coleslaw right on the sandwich, it is like heaven! Do you know what I am having for dinner tonight? Yes! That! I was wanting it last night, now, I am rewarding myself for waiting for the right time.
Oh, how lucky with Southern Roots. Mine is Pennsylvania Dutch and French. A strange combination for sure, but, the food is so good. The French side always.
I have been in the same position with trying out the various places for different BBQ and I do love it all, but, hello! Texas is where I ate the most of it. I guess it helped that I lived there the longest of anywhere as a grownup, but, the Washington, DC area is coming in a close second.
I loved Rudy's out there and Cooper's BBQ If you ever get there, try them! You won't regret it! I am having a great weekend! I hope you are too!

yes yes - i am From Pennsylvania - and we used to visit Lancaster and go for the smorgasbords ! hehehehe

its only 1:28 here though - so i haven't even thought about dinner LOL i have so much to do before thinking about dinner LOL and i've given myself a little break today before rushing to it - and now i'm like... hmmm don't let any more time go by hahahahahaha
but i want to keep talking about bbq and yummy food ROFLLLLLLLLLLLl
ok - i'll start no later than 2 pm ;) that gives me 31 more minutes to have fun hehehehe
enjoy that dinner - oh yes! i love pulled pork sammies with coleslaw RIGHT on it!!!!! YES YES YES! EAT IT UP!!!!! :) and eat your first bite and then hold your bun up and say "THIS FIRST BITE IS FOR YOU DREEMIE!!" hahahahahahahahahahah
