Our Rotor Overheated: Good Thing Banana Cue and Pineapple Juice Saved the Day!

Blue and White Simple Travel Adventure Scrapbook.png

Hello everyone!
Today, since my daughter had no class, we spent the day together at home. My husband was busy using the rotor because we are preparing our land for another round of planting next week. As always, I admire his effort and hard work. Farming is never easy, especially under the hot sun.

When he was almost done, he suddenly rushed back home and quickly poured water on the rotor. I was worried because it was already smoking and was about to overheat. I honestly felt a little sad because I knew it would be another expense if it got damaged. Thankfully, he noticed it early, so the problem didn't get worse and he was able to fix it right away.

That experience reminded me that even machines need proper care and maintenance after working so hard. Just like us, we also need to slow down, rest, and take care of ourselves. We can't keep going without giving our bodies time to recover.

Since I knew he was already tired, I prepared a simple snack. I fried some bananas some without sugar and some with sugar. My husband prefers the sweet one, so of course I made his favorite. While I was cooking, our daughter happily called, "Papa, snack time!" It was such a simple moment, but it made us smile. I also prepared a cold glass of pineapple juice, which was perfect after working outside.

I really believe that helping each other makes every job easier. As a wife I need to support him in food preparation so he feel important also and less hassle to him. Farming is not only about planting vegetables and rice. It's also about teamwork, supporting one another, and appreciating the small moments we share as a family.

Thankfully, the rotor was fixed, my husband enjoyed his snack, and after taking a short break, he happily went back to finish his work.
Sometimes, all we need is a little rest, a simple snack, and the love of our family to keep going.

Not all wives are as supportive and caring toward their husbands as you are. Some husbands work extremely hard all day, only to come home and find that there isn't even a meal prepared for them. Your husband is truly fortunate to have you because you always take the initiative to prepare food and snacks for him.

Actually, both of you are fortunate to have each other. He works incredibly hard to provide for his family, even under the scorching heat, and you show your love and support through the care you give him every day.

I completely agree with you when you say that even a machine needs rest. That's absolutely true, if something is overused, it will wear out and break down much sooner.

Thank you so much! Yes, that's true. We really need to help each other so the work becomes easier. 🥰 When I have online work, my husband is the one who prepares our meals, especially dinner. And whenever I'm busy or taking our daughter to school, he also does the laundry. We simply share the responsibilities at home and on the farm.

Thankfully, the rotor was fixed right away. I was just a little nervous because, as a wife, the first thing that came to my mind was, Oh no, another expense!😂 Thankfully, it wasn't a serious problem.

Thank you, sis! Yes, I'm blessed to have a hardworking husband. He always checks our farm equipment right away to prevent bigger problems. But sometimes, expenses are unavoidable. Machines also need care and maintenance, so they also ask for their share. 😁That's part of farming. We're just thankful we noticed the problem early. And yes, the fried bananas are the perfect snack after a long day of work on the farm. 😍

I'm grateful for my husband because we always try to work as a team on the farm. Thankfully, he noticed the rotor problem early. Although maintenance can be costly sometimes, they're part of farming, and we just do our best to keep going but honestly I feel worried I’m thinking about another expense. 😁The banana cue and fresh pineapple juice were the perfect snacks after all the hard work.
