Faith, Fellowship & Learning: Balancing Momlife, Work, and a Calling to Serve

Happy Sunday, everyone!
Today was another busy Sunday for me, but it was also a happy and meaningful one.
Early in the morning, I was already busy preparing my daughter for church. I also had to prepare myself because I needed to attend a seminar about synodality at our parish in town.

Since I would be away for a while, my daughter stayed at the church with my husband and her cousins. At first, she looked a little sad and almost cried because Mama was going somewhere without her. As a mother, I honestly felt a little guilty too. I explained to her that I just needed to attend the seminar and that I would come back later.

When we arrived at the church where our seminar would be held, the Mass was not yet finished, so we were still able to attend part of it. I was happy that we arrived just in time.

I also noticed how beautiful and well-organized their church was. They have a lovely garden filled with plants and flowers. I really liked that they also use flowers from their own garden to decorate the church. It makes the place look fresh, clean, and alive.

They also have a small prayer room. I love places like this because they feel so peaceful. When you sit there surrounded by plants and flowers, you can forget your worries for a while and simply enjoy the quiet moment.
While looking around, I quietly wished that someday, our little chapel could also have something like this a simple garden where people can pray, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Of course, we did not forget about food! We brought some snacks and dishes that we could share for lunch. For me, church activities are always more enjoyable when there is food, sharing, and good conversations.

Then our seminar started. I may be one of the youngest people there, but I know that I am there for a purpose. I am there to learn, listen, and hopefully bring something useful back to our own church community.

I am happy that even though life can be very busy, I can still make time for activities like this. Serving in the church can be tiring sometimes, but it also gives me a different kind of happiness.

And of course, a big thank you to my husband for always supporting me. He even reminded me to leave early so I would not be late for the seminar. Simple things like that mean so much to me.
Another Sunday, another experience, and another lesson learned.
