Hello fellow Smokers and Growers, Gardeners and casual Readers of my blog.

🎊 Celebrate my sixth birthday in the hive! 🎉

Thank you all for the nice company ...I hope this is just the beginning!

The hot part of spring has arrived and my plants need more frequent watering, especially cannabis.

Today I have prepared for you instructions for making a bucket from an old plastic canister from agricultural fertilizers.

This container is almost impossible to wash without cutting, therefore, quite often, these canisters, after being emptied, go straight to the landfill. I find this wasteful use of plastic unacceptable, and I can find a more useful use for the canister than throwing it in the trash after a single use.

I already have several of these containers, but recently I got another canister, so I decided to make a bucket for water and show the hive the whole process:

First, I cut off the top of the canister. It is best to do this with a grinder, but you can also use scissors for metal. The walls of the canister are quite thick and difficult to cut

Then, using a drill, I drilled holes for attaching a future handle.

I do the same on the other side...

We try to drill holes strictly in the center for even distribution of weight.

Then I have to go to the junk shed and look for material for the handle of my bucket. Come with me!

Here is a piece of thick wire I managed to find in the trash of the barn. This is great for a bucket handle.

First, I make a hook on one side of the wire so that I first try on the handle to the bucket.

We measure the wire of the desired length and bend the second hook

Cut off the excess wire with a diamond wheel for a drill

Сut off the excess length of the wire using a diamond wheel for a drill and process the cutting edges

Hammer the second hook to the desired bend!
