More details creating my current NFT; adding some animations
I've been toiling away this past week on my NFT, tho I suppose I would consider it a work of love. I've been continually trying out various ways I wish to go forward with animated NFT. It's funny how adding this element to my work, rather than considering a final still image, makes much more process.
As you can see from last post, I've also decided our lovely lady needed More hair and a head dress and I wanted to really make the blue pop with the warm tones of the painting so the Pug's eyes, our lady's frock and then the headress helped to give me that triangle of blue I was looking for.
You can see that the brushwork background is playing on these colours as well, but in fact they are a placeholder of sorts as I want, in the final animation of the NFT, to have it fade into the wallpaper design I shared with you in last post as well. having played with it in blues and reds really spurred me onwards to focus more on that colour duo in this piece.
I have played with the animation a bit in photoshop and then in my simple video editor (I use Shotcut which is free). I use this programme for all my youtube videos as well, so I feel most comfortable for it. I've not to see what format I can upload the animation to Makers Place. I'm hoping MP4 is allowed, but I better look that up, as I am planning on this week having the NFT up.
Here is the animation I've done thus far, do let me know what you think? As I said I'm adding more animations to the butterflies, but I still need to paint those other versions and I want to add a bit more overall as well as having the background fade to the crisp wallpaper I designed. I still want it to have a bit of a #darkacademia feel.
Here it is with the animation and music thus far:
At home, here on the sea, we've had a wonderful week of weather, sun and stillness mainly.
and I did quite a bit of sketching outside this week as well:
However, we did have a lovely stormy day. It was wind from the South , which usually does not result in us losing power ,so I could enjoy the raging storm, rain on the windows and wind in the eaves the sound of the pounding surf outside.
I love watching the storm from the sitting room with the old wisteria whipping about the waves were really up and it was high tide, so it was the perfect weather to stay in and paint.
Thus, overall it's been a good week of getting things done. I did a LOT of sketching for other projects that will become NFT and from that series of work for prints and other items. This November NFT adventure has been fun thus far, even if I am still ONLY working on the first one :) Yet, I feel when I get the look I want I'll feel better informed how I'd like my other pieces to look and perform.
I hope you enjoyed my latest iteration of the piece and had a lovely week yourself and remember , stay creative.
