#inktober continues and still time for some videos

Though I have kept up with daily drawings for #inktober thus far, I have not kept up with posting here daily, as had been my plan. Let's dive in with day four, shall we:

Tho I hadn't set out with a "theme" for inktober, nor did I follow prompts this year, as I have done in the past, it seems a theme has arisen, that being something Seaside and also tea. I realize thus far only one of my drawings have not contained tea, but not that all other's have I might keep it going in the remainder of this fun month.

Day 4's "Uninvited guests" was heavily influenced by my own morning view. Each morning Algernon seagull ( a particular gull that visits our 'spitting rock' on our beach) arrives and makes the morning song of dropping either mollusks or crabs onto it, to get at his breakfast. In this drawing scenario, I'll let the viewer decide if the Seagull is bringing the crab as a fellow intruding guest, or as a tea time snack...viewers choice :)

Day 5 we find more Sea & Tea, which isn't a bad name for this series now that I think upon it. We've a mermaid happily awaiting her 4 o'clock repast with the announcement of tea by the sea footman, any underwater lady is happy to have seals as servants. I'm also adding colour here and there, tho I've usually done inktober in black and white as it IS meant to be ink. Yet the 'washes' here ARE in coloured ink.

And catching us up to yesterday's Day 6 we have "sleepytime tea" and I couldn't resist this one. I had meant to give the sleeping central figure a mermaids tail curled up behind her in a decorative way (might do it later in November) but with time constraints I stopped here as I also had videos to make.

In this one I added an Italian greyhound modeled after my own dear sweet Sophie whom we had over 20 years. She was the sweetest dog and boon companion. She even gave us 2 litters of puppies, but her Favourite pastime was sleeping on soft pillows, so she really inspired me for this one. Again I used colour, tho I did do a black and white version as well.

And thus we are caught up, tho I have day 7 today. I think rather than post again today I shall TRY and post tomorrow with 2 images and then maybe...JUST maybe I can try and post daily with the remainder of my drawings.

However, I am also trying to keep up with my youtube schedule and editing is a lot of work. ON that front, for this month, I'm having fun and delving my videos into my own love of Minecraft.

I LOVE creative play minecraft as it is my 'break treat' as I used to love to build dollhouses and pour over architechtrual magazines, with Minecraft I get to build endless 'dollhouses' and 'towns' at no cost and with ease.

So today's video as me touching on that adventure for this month, if you'd like to check that out. Look for MORE minecraft videos this month, only they'll look better as I'll be filming them with shaders on which makes an amazing environment.

Enjoy and remember , stay creative!

Thanks @ewkaw I mean if your dainty kitten tea party was now filled with briny webbed feet you might make a similar expression, right? Lol Glad you like it.

Loving the feel of these, very subtle <3 Personally, I prefer the watercolor aspect to the black and white of previous years (not that those weren't great, as well).

First off hello @honeydue hubby, who only just hopped back on hive the other day, was mentioning you, I hope you are well. Yes, colour most like thoroughout. I'm such a lover of colour, tho black and white are a nice palette cleanser for me, I use SO much colour in my work it's hard to say no to some :)

I was glad to see him around! :D I am, I am. Yourself?

Honestly, I think balance is, as always, key, and in this case, a way to keep your artistic journey even more interesting.

I used to live on the Hudson River, which was brack-ish and therefore delivered me a slightly sea-side-y vibe. I'm happy to live in ithaca now, but I do miss seaside things.
