Beautiful mini sunflowers

Sunflowers are a flower that has large petals and is easy to recognize. However, it turns out that sunflowers also have a mini size or are called mini sunflowers. As the name suggests, mini sunflowers are smaller in size than large sunflowers in general.

Mini sunflowers require ideal conditions for maximum growth. Mini sunflowers require at least six to eight hours of light per day. In addition, mini sunflowers like warm weather and need light to support root growth.Suitable soil for growing mini sunflowers is light, fertile, well-drained and contains organic matter. The soil should be dry to prevent root rot.

Mini sunflower seeds can be planted directly in pots. The soil or planting medium that is already in the pot needs to be moistened first. After that, plant two to three sunflower seeds in the planting medium and cover lightly with soil, then water regularly. Mini sunflowers take approximately 10 days to germinate. Water regularly until the plants grow well.

Sunflower seeds need to be watered regularly, especially when the planting medium is dry. Mini sunflowers grown in pots require more frequent watering because their roots do not get water from the soil. However, watering should not be excessive because it can result in the growth of disease-causing fungi.
