WHAT MY SUNDAY WAS LIKE/CÓMO FUE MI DOMINGO– ENG & ESP

It was Sunday yesterday and a relatively busy one. Well, not in the sense that I was walking up and down but I was occupied more or less.

My sunday started at 3am. Hehehe. Yes, I woke at 3am to pray. I and Mom are what most people would term religious👀.

At about 4am, I was done and went ahead to go through my second favorite thing; Hive. Yesterday was Hive's birthday and due to some circumstances, I couldn't create the post the night before like I always do. So at 4am, I was creating and released my Happy Birthday Hive post at around 7am (or before).

Then I kicked back and relaxed (lol) by burying my nose deep in a novel. It was a laid back morning really. By 9am, I was to set water on the stove so we could get ready for service. However, I discovered that the matchbox was empty and so, I left the house in search for some. Hehehe.

The street was quiet but something was different. I couldn't lay my finger on it but the whole place looked brighter or was it just cause the street was isolated? 🤷

I did enjoy the small time I spent on the street though. I felt like I was breathing super human air. 😅

After getting it (the matchbox), I strolled back home and we prepared and went for service. I spent more time in church because I'm currently taking a Discipleship & Leadership Training course. I got home around 5pm, had something light to eat and went to bed (that's how I woke around 10pm– over four hours later).

On getting up, my phone registered a few missed calls and some were work related. Tessa, my friend was one of them. Her reason for calling is to find out if I was still "Alive" 😐. I don't know what to do with that girl.

The other was my partner-in-pen. We write and collect jobs together. He'd been trying to solidify a contract with Webnovel & Dream for a time now. I hope he gets it.

One more person was a Publish Agent. They are looking to start another writing project and want me on the job. I voiced my concerns regarding my upcoming exams and they agreed to push back the date (either that or find someone else. Luckily, they chose to do the former).

After that, I went back on Hive while stuffing my face with food before having a quick shower.

All in all, I did enjoy my Sunday. Does it sound boring? Honestly speaking it is but I've always loved a simple day indoors over hopping around outside. Perhaps that'll change with time.

P.S before going to bed, I read some more. As always, I had a blast with the music blaring in my ears, feeding words to my eyes and pictures to my mind.

Ayer fue domingo y uno relativamente ocupado. Bueno, no en el sentido de que anduviera de un lado a otro, sino que estaba más o menos ocupado.

Mi domingo comenzó a las 3 de la mañana. Jejeje. Sí, me desperté a las 3 de la mañana para rezar. Yo y mamá somos lo que la mayoría de la gente llamaría religiosos👀.

A eso de las 4 de la mañana, terminé y me puse a revisar mi segunda cosa favorita; Colmena. Ayer fue el cumpleaños de Hive y debido a algunas circunstancias, no pude crear el post la noche anterior como siempre hago. Así que a las 4 de la mañana, estuve creando y publiqué mi post de Feliz Cumpleaños Hive sobre las 7 de la mañana (o antes).

Luego me relajé (lol) enterrando mi nariz en una novela. Fue una mañana muy relajada. A las 9 de la mañana, tenía que poner agua en la estufa para prepararnos para el servicio. Sin embargo, descubrí que la caja de cerillas estaba vacía y salí de casa en busca de algunas. Jejeje.

La calle estaba tranquila pero algo era diferente. No podía precisarlo pero todo el lugar parecía más luminoso o ¿sólo era porque la calle estaba aislada? 🤷

Sin embargo, disfruté del poco tiempo que pasé en la calle. Sentí que respiraba aire súper humano. 😅

Después de conseguirlo (la caja de cerillas), volví a casa y nos preparamos y fuimos al servicio. Pasé más tiempo en la iglesia porque actualmente estoy tomando un curso de Entrenamiento de Discipulado y Liderazgo. Llegué a casa como a las 5pm, comí algo ligero y me acosté (así me desperté como a las 10pm- más de cuatro horas después).

Al levantarme, mi teléfono registró algunas llamadas perdidas y algunas estaban relacionadas con el trabajo. Tessa, mi amiga, era una de ellas. El motivo de su llamada es saber si sigo "Vivo " 😐. No sé qué hacer con esa chica.

La otra era mi compañera de pluma. Escribimos y cobramos trabajos juntos. Llevaba tiempo intentando consolidar un contrato con Webnovel & Dream. Espero que lo consiga.

Otra persona era un agente de publicación. Ellos están buscando para iniciar otro proyecto de escritura y me quieren en el trabajo. Les expresé mi preocupación por mis próximos exámenes y accedieron a retrasar la fecha (o eso o encontrar a otra persona. Por suerte, optaron por lo primero).

Después de eso, volví a Hive mientras me atiborraba de comida antes de darme una ducha rápida.

En definitiva, disfruté de mi domingo. ¿Suena aburrido? Sinceramente, lo es, pero siempre me ha gustado más un simple día de puertas adentro que andar de un lado a otro. Quizá eso cambie con el tiempo.

P.D. Antes de ir a la cama, leí un poco más. Como siempre, me lo pasé en grande con la música sonando en mis oídos, alimentando mis ojos con palabras e imágenes en mi mente.
