FOR A PASTOR’S CHILD THAT DOESN’T DRINK ALCOHOL??

Many people who claim that they don’t drink or even have a tiny taste of alcohol actually take it indirectly sometimes because even the cake we eat is mostly preserved with alcohol, and it is also written in the Bible “No longer drink water exclusively, use wine for the sake of thy stomach”.

Few years ago, while I was in my 200level in the university, I had a clique of friends, we were besties and we looked after each other, amongst us was “Testimony” a pastor’s child, she doesn’t drink anything that contains alcohol, even if it was a creamy drink or a sweet wine, she wouldn’t dare take it, infact she said any drink that contained alcohol was bitter, so we respected her decision as friends, we didn’t try to pressure her into drinking anything that was alcoholic.

Fast forward to February 9th 2019, it was one of our friend’s birthday, and boyfriend wanted to do a surprise birthday, so he reached out to us two days before her birthday and we made arrangements for the party, we made arrangements for food, music, drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, I contacted one of my friend that bakes really delicious cakes from home and he made a very delicious two step cakes and extra cupcakes. On the deal day, one of my friend and I went to pick up the cakes from vendor, others were cleaning the venue, the venue was given to us by a close friend, it was there family house, so apparently he was schooling in his village.

We planned the birthday to start around 7, so when it was getting close to the time, we had to pull a fast one on the celebrant, we told her to get ready that we were going to attend a random party to pass time, since she didn’t plan a party for her own birthday, when we got there everybody had hid themselves and turn off all the lights, immediately we entered everyone came out and
shouted SURPRISE!!

My friend couldn’t believe her eyes, she was so shocked and was literally a cry babyy, the party started.. some were drinking, some were eating, while some were dancing, since it wasn’t a big party, it was just a get together party we decided to play a game, somebody suggested truth and dare and we all agreed, anyone who decides not comply to the dare drinks a shot!. When Testimony heard this she opted out of the game because she didn’t want to drink anything alcohol, the game went on and on and on, finally it was like around 11:30pm and we all tired, so we decided to sleep, while the pastor’s daughter was talking to her potential crush, the rest of us went to relax our tired head.

The next morning when we woke up we found out that a bottle of chocolate flavored vodka was totally finished, we were all wondering who could have finished it, when suddenly Testimony’s crush came in and said we should come and take a look at our friend and that he doesn’t understand what was going on with her, when we got there we saw her lying on the bed and was passed out, apparently she had a serious hung over from drinking alot from the vodka, she was jecking and falling off the bed, we became scared and worried, according to the guy he said, they were having a conversation, then she suggested that should have something to drink and she brought the vodka, he initially refused because he knew she wasn’t the drinking type, but she kept on insisting, and that others wouldn’t notice, but unfortunately the drink got the best of her.

Although we didn’t believe his side of the story, we decided to carry her to bathroom, bathed her cold water from the crown of her head to the soul of her feets😅, we forced soaking garri AKA Cassava flakes in her mouth and finally she started vomiting, when she gained consciousness she saw all of us around her with fear and anger in our eyes, she immediately started begging and saying that she did it just to impress her crush!
