My Actifit Report Card: January 1 2023
This winter holiday season I drew the short straw! Working both Christmas day and New year day. I have done the same in years gone by of course but these days it really doesn't matter much.
You have to look at the positive side, like being paid double time! Now that's an incentive!
Weekends are usually relatively easy anyway so not a challenging day at all. In fact towards the end of the shift I was scratching around looking for something to do. I had to make myself scarce, take a walk around, make out I'm busy.
These dark days sure make me feel tired! Won't be long before we see a change in daylight hours. I'm looking forward to that and signs of life returning in the hedgerows. 🌷
