Waiting For My Turn

I was privileged to be at a friend's wedding ceremony recently and I had to ask myself repeatedly what I was waiting for? Like virtually all my friends are married already and I am still single. Sometimes I feel something is wrong somewhere because it's either the person I love don't love me back or the I don't love the person that loves me.

Such an irony of life and I am really getting tired of all of this. The fact that God answers prayers is what keeps me going and I belive that soonest, He will answer my prayer. I already told my parents and my close friends I am getting married this year but guess what guys? I am not even in a relationship at the moment but like we always say, anything is possible.

So back to my friend's marriage. It was indeed a glorious occasion and we came out as friends and supported him all through. We did what we could do and thanks to God, it was a success. He called me the other day to tell me that marriage is sweet and that I should go and marry. I couldn't just say anything because I had no words to defend myself. Too bad right?

I know it will soon be over. It's just a matter of time and nothing is impossible. So wish me well guys and join me in prayers so I can meet the girl of my dreams soonest.
