Top of Prairie View Hike

IMG_20230902_132738_Original.jpeg

This ain’t no prairie view, where the prairies at? Over yonder is Mount Baldy, with Barrier lake resting below it. There was a slight bit of smoke in the air, just enough to make the landscape a little hazy. Still a fantastic view. Why do they call this the Prairie view hike? No idea, it is just a name anyways. Maybe they should change the name. Perhaps I missed the “prairie view” on the other side, but I don’t think so. Maybe I should start a petition to change the name of this hike lol! How about Kananaskis mountain view? I like that better! Anyways, the hike itself took about ninety minutes or so to get to this lookout point. It was actually more enjoyable than I had anticipated. Score.

Ah.. a glimpse of the infamous trekking poles! They look super sturdy. I like the idea of 'anti shock'as well. That hike looks like so much fun, and 90 mins is quite manageable. Well, you still have to factor in the way back.. but yeah, I reckon that's possibly within my capabilities too (lol, at least I hope haha). Fantastic adventure my friend!

But on this one, the way back took longer than excepted, which I'll get into later. It was a ton of fun. Thanks for stopping by @ma3str0.

This serene forest path is a beautiful reminder of nature's tranquility. The towering trees contrasted against the azure sky create a breathtaking view.

The worn trail hints at many peaceful walks taken through this woodland. The play of light and shadow adds depth and intrigue. Truly a captivating snapshot of untouched wilderness.
