It’s that time of year again, December. Which means that the days are shorter and the nights longer. It also means that the sunrise is later, and for a late riser like me, this is music to my ears. I always hated getting up super early, just to catch a great sunrise. This is the magic captured this morning! The colours were incredible. I haven’t seen a great sunrise like this in a long time. Are you a sunrise person or more of a sunset admirer? Or both. Even though we can't see any colour in the black & whites, I like the contrast they offer. In a word, amazing. I love these sunset scenes. Looking at these scenes, it seems as if an artist has painted beautifully.

Beautiful lights of dawn!.... Ahhhh, so you only photograph "late dawns" of winter my friend @daveks!... ha ha ha :)).... Here it always dawns early due to our proximity to the equator, so when I want to photograph the sunrise I have to be awake before 5:30 AM at least!!!!.... :))

Beautiful also the black and white versions of these photos where you can appreciate the shapes and volumes of the clouds....
