Beautiful Banff in Fall

So I stopped in the beautiful townsite of Banff, Alberta today. I heard there was a new bridge erected last year, so this gave me the perfect excuse to pop on by for a walk along the Bow river, and then to eventually cross that bridge. The fall colours were out in full force, and it was amazing to view. This was such a good idea! I was able to get and sweet shot of Rundle Mountain and it’s reflection off the Bow river, from the centre point of the bridge. I lovin this bridge already!

Personally, I prefer color photography as nature has different colors to hypnotize us with its mesmerizing beauty. Black and white photography does put things in perspective and I like it as well. It's a personal thought. Amazing shots again 😁

I usually prefer the colours myself, but the black and whites are a close second. Thanks for looking @abrarhussain.

Beautiful! I love the bridge but your wonderful shot gives the highest reflection of the beauty. Guess, i prefer the colored on as it gives the reality of it. Thanks for sharing dear Daveks

Was the air still? ..the water looks like glass. Bridge looks very cool - I dig all the wood. Cheers mate.

@daveks on a side note.. I've been checking out your awesome "Colour / Black&White" community and have a couple of questions if that's ok:

  • To take part.. would I be able to post to another community, and simply use the "colourblackandwhite" tag to qualify for your curation?
  • If each post consisted of a selection of colour and black & white photos.. BUT they are not duplicates of one another. I.e. if there wasn't an identical colour for a specific black & white.. then would that count for your curation as well?

I have an interesting idea for future posts, and if both of the above points are ok by you, then perhaps I could use your tag and give it a try?

Take care my good friend.

Yeah, go for it. The community, as it turned out, hasn’t much been a huge success. The problem is, most curation happens in the larger communities, and this one is tiny by comparison. So, I’m pretty flexible as to how it is used at this point.

It's so beautiful!!
The B&W hits so different! The colored ones are already so great and tells a nice story already but when I saw the B&W I can't help but feel dramatic about it. So hard to stick to one side.

The photos, dear @daveks , of Rundle Mountain and its reflection in the Bow River, from the center point of the bridge, are spectacular. As always, I congratulate you for your photographs in extraordinary places, wishing you much success and thanking you for your visits to my publications. Congratulations from Venezuela.

I have seen for several minutes that first photo, the colors, the light, the imposing landscape perfectly framed... Wow, I swear it makes me feel like being there physically observing so much magic... At the pace we are going and due my current economic conditions, I will have to wait for my "next reincarnation" to be in a place like that! ha ha haaa! :)))... So thank you very much for giving me this "majestic view" of your amazing locations!... As usual "top photography stuff" @daveks friend!!!
