Just as it is often said, "Rome was not built in a day"; meaning, it definitely had a beginning.
Therefore, I am pleased to inform you that I have begun to build my Rome in Hive.
A Rome of connectivity.
A Rome of creativity.
A Rome of productivity.
A ROME THAT WILL NEVER FALL.

How I knew Hive:

Actually, I got to know about Hive through my friends who often discuss about it, and I thought to myself, “what a nice community to belong to". With the help of my youth pastor, @ekotmordemy I have opened a Hive account and I'm ready to start this journey with you all.

My name is Darah Clement (also known as Dazzle) with the English meaning, Joy. I am a tall, dark and chubby looking girl 🙈, obviously very beautiful.

I am seventeen years old of age from the country of Nigeria who resides in Akwa Ibom state (my state of origin) . In the family of three, I am the second born, I guess I'm the monkey in the middle 😜. I’m really a sanguine in temperament, a dog lover, and a lady with a big smile too.

My Academic Journey:

Starting my story from high school, I schooled at Fellowship High school in Akwa Ibom state during my junior year. Thereafter, I moved from Akwa Ibom state to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to be with my cousin to further my high school education in Abuja International academy where I made lots of friends, had a lot of experiences, achieved a lot skills, learnt important life lessons, and got to grow faster than my actual age because of the piled-up responsibilities I handled.

Still on my academic journey, I held several posts in school: I was the time keeper, choir director of Fellowship of Christian students and Deputy Head girl. Obviously, high school was fun for me, I had fun classmates, and did the best I could in my endeavors.

I utilized my opportunities properly, I engaged in sports to keep fit. I didn't get a proper graduation ceremony because during session, the international pandemic got really serious and restrictions to gathering was prohibited. I passed out from high school with good results though; my stay at Abuja taught me resilience, self-control, responsibility, determination and hard work.

My Return:

   When I came back home from Abuja in 2020, I got to see my family again after some years. I met another bunch of sweet people, I regard them as my family too, they are Aunty Ifure, Engr. Ekom and their lovely girls Dara and Ima Abasi. They really stood for me during my sick days and even when I had to undergo an immediate appendectomy, they taught me that even people outside can love you.

Recently, I got admission into the university of Uyo, to study communication arts. I want to be a presenter when I'm older, I'd also love to own a Fashion shop too, I love creating new things.
I'm a Christian and I attend the Christian Fellowship Evangelical Inc church in Nigeria. I believe Jesus is the only way to God.

My Likes:

I love to write, play games, draw, sing, sew, watch TV, take camera shots and read novels. I love travelling, I love to eat and try new food; my favorite food is otomboro, it's a native food Nigerian people from the Ibibio tribe eat.

I love listening to music, gospel especially. I love to talk to older people, I also love making new friends, the good ones though with a little bit of crazy. I met new friends when I came home again, I had to start all over because some of my childhood friends had lost contacts, I only got reunited with a few. My new friends are: @peckypeace, uwakmfon, @halleluyah, @everlyn, @tomlee, @didiee, @zellypearl and @johnuko, I met them in church, they're God-fearing , respectful and caring. I have a lot of good mentors too: Pastor @uyobong, Mr. and Mrs. Henshaw, Mrs. Ifure and Engr Ekom and my biggest sources of inspiration God's word and me. I've been able to live better and even more responsibly because of them. I love to defend people who have no one to speak for them.

My Dislikes:

I dislike lies and unkindness.

Conclusion:

I believe in God, myself, I believe in consistency, I believe in love and I believe I can achieve anything if I set my heart to do it. Special thanks to pastor @uyobong, @johnuko and @ekotmordemy for giving me this awareness about Hive.
