Yesterday was one of the lowest profile Saturdays I had in a while with very little betting action both because I didn't see much edge and I also didn't have my focus on it 100%. I'll see where it goes on Sunday with 4 matches to be played...
Antwerp vs Standard
Antwerp continues to be a solid team taking an 0-3 win against Oostende last week without overly impressing. They lost Frey and have quite a lot of injured players but still more than enough quality on the pitch to be fine. This season they especially have been strong at beaten their home handicaps going 7W-2L-1P. Standard remains a team that I see as ranked too high and right now with the quality they have shown remains a team that I'm looking to oppose. That being said, they haven't lost a 1st half away in their last 8 matches taking 6 draws. Scoring remains their main issue. My lean in on Antwerp but I'm reluctant to get in now given the fact that the Stats from Standard aren't actually that bad. So I'll be looking to possibly get a better line on Antwerp in-game.
No Pre-Game Bets
Seraing vs Anderlecht
Seraing remains one of the weakest teams but they continue to surprise on the road where they in some way always manage to score a couple of goals. At home they are worse and on the narrow pitch combined with a defensive style makes it that they are the team with least 1H goals there. The 2 goals in there last home match in the 1st half came out no real chances. Betting 1H under at home in Seraing remains a blind bet that I'm willing to take early on and I managed to get just 0.096 units on
1H Under 1 @ 2.06 (now 1.97). Anderlecht remains in a big crisis as the only conclusion that can be made both from looking at their play, their stats and their results is that it's just not good enough. That being said, they still have a team with more quality compared to Seraing. They also have a new players that should be good in Dreyer and Raman tanked some confidence scoring 2 goals against Zulte last week. The way this one should play out at least at the start is Anderlecht coming out with a lot of hunger and drive trying to make the difference while Seraing lays back defending and trying to exploit the counters. The -1 handicap at higher odds properly reflects the situation but it could be that this either becomes a much more easy win for Anderlecht or their bad streak to continue setting a new low with another loss. I'm not willing to gamble on it. Seraing at home lost their last 4 corner matchups with the opponent being able to create 7 or more each time. Anderlecht however on the road in their last 4 created just 4/0/1/1 corners.
No Pre-Game Bets
Club Brugge vs Charleroi
Club Brugge is in 4th place with only a 1 point bonus on Gent and at risk to lose their playoff 1 spot. They have plenty of quality in their team but haven't found their best form yet and failed to win in their last 9 official matches. Often times they start ok but when taking the lead they just totally fall back and get scored against. Jutgla also is planning to leave and Yaremchuk has been a flop transfer of 17 Million having an impossible time to score right now. Charleroi under their new/old coach Mazzu so far took 2 wins and a draw but it's not that they have shown that much quality. They are one of the worst 1st half away teams still without a win and 4 losses out of their last 5 while Club Brugge is the 2nd best home team yet without a loss and 4 wins out of their last 5. I'm willing to take that gamble and took 0.25 units on

Sint-Truiden vs AA Gent
Stvv is 8th now without a loss in their 4 latest matches and they just remain a solid well-organized team. Koita is back in the team which for sure makes them more dangerous and they managed to score in their last 4 matches. AA Gent is still missing a lot of players and have not found the dominant flow they used to have at some point last season making it so that they rarely have easy matches. They also have important missings in Odidja, Samoise, Nurnio and still Tissoudali. That last one made it so that they have a much harder time to score goals. Especially the total line has been adjusted maybe overly to the situation at over/under 2 goals which is quite tempting. This to the point where I'm willing to take a small 0.15 unit gamble on
