It was a pretty good Saturday making close to 1 unit profit and for the first time this season I really feel like I'm in the driver seat again and I potentially could start increasing my stakes again. I'll do it slowly though on the 4 matches today.
Kv Mechelen vs Club Brugge
So from the looks of it, Club Brugge finally after half the season is over is starting to live up to their potential. They are coming off a 0-1 win against OHL, a 0-5 against Besiktas, a 2-0 against Standard, & a 4-0 in the cup against Waregem. After a lot of rotation it also looked like Thiago has stepped up and is now a scoring 1st striker. They also have crazy options from the bench with Meijer, Jutgla, Nielsen, ... So everything should be set for Club Brugge to make a run climbing the ranks to get inside the top 3 at least. Kv Mechelen is a team that in the past had these matches where they really overperformed at home, especially against top teams. However, this season there has been none of that so far and it's not a factor that really holds me back from opposing them. They recently got a new coach but that shock effect already seems to have worked out. The general approach also is a bit more defensive. So for this match, I do expect Club Brugge to just have too much quality winning it over 90 minutes. I did manage to get 0.058 units early on
Club Brugge -1 @ 2.163 and 0.068 units on
Club Brugge 1H -0.25 @ 1.800 but odds have come down to the classic 1.6 away favorite which I systematically stay away from. I do expect a straightforward start of the match with Club Brugge taking the initiative and Mechelen being pushed back having a hard time to even get counters in. So far away, each match of Club had at least 1 goal in the 1st half. I took 0.15 units on

Eupen vs Genk
Genj surprisingly got eliminated in the cup and things aren't yet going as they should. They generally put up good performances and get plenty of chances but too often fail to finish matches. They come off a 1-0 loss against Standard, and a 1-1 Draw against Gent followed my a mid-week elimination against 2nd dividion team Oostende. Eupen didn't have a mid-week match and should be fresher. However, they are on their way back themselves and are one of the biggest relegation candidates failing to win in their last 4 games. They generally also are not good at home and are quite low on the expected goals. This should be the match where Genk gets some confidence but it's hard to take a -1.5 away favorite who isn't in the best streak at the moment. Eupen at home is 6W-2L on the over but at the same time, Genk is 2-6 on the over away. So a match that is too tricky for me to take a gamble on right now and I will just wait in-game to see what happens.

Anderlecht vs Standard
This match was played in the mid-week for the cup where Anderlecht showed to have too much quality taking a 2-0 win in what looked like an open encounter. Fans of Standard got a bit too wild and they are banned from the stadion today. Everyone is also getting very negative about Standard again saying they lack the quality in over in Wallonia their coach is under fire. I would say the line is about right with Anderlecht as the big 1.6 odds home favorite. A draw for me by no means would be a surprise as I do believe Standard will be able to put up the energy today. However, they remain a team where one week it can be excellent followed by a match where they get played off the pitch losing with 5 goals. So betting standard pre-game always feels like a gamble that is too big to take. I will sit back and see how it goes before pulling any triggers.

Charleroi vs Union
Charleroi with Heymans in the team seems to be more dangerous at the moment. They managed to get a 0-2 lead over Antwerp (with a couple youngsters) in the cup in a match where they really got under pressure afterward when some of the A-Squad players came in. This resulted in a 5-2 FT score which leaves it hard to trust them at the moment especially against Union who just keep going. They also had a cup match and played a near full B-Squad still winning in the end. Charleroi at home has 79.2% of their goals in the 2nd half and I would not be surprised to see them start a bit more defensive for things to open up eventually. Union is not a team who are flawless in defense while Charleroi tends to be better offensively when not having to make the play. I can see them get a goal today. Both To Score @ 1.820. Charleroi at home has been pretty good and they generally tend to find the goal. I will go from this and see where I can potentially add in-game.
