I remain highly cautious with my betting right now with the aim to turn the bad streak around. So far I'm up slightly over the week and hope to keep it that way on Sunday with 4 matches to be played...
Cercle Brugge vs Anderlecht
Last week was the first time that Anderlecht really convinced me and they seem to have grown to the point where it reflects the player quality and experience that they have. For this match however, they will be without Leoni who has been the revelation on the midfield so it remains to be seen how things change without him. The late injury also moved the line a little bit. Cercle Brugge remains a solid team and are now with 3 wins in a row against Mechelen, Gent & OHL), I have been less impressed by their actual performance compared to some of the matches last season and they also have some A-Squad players that are out in Somers & Ravych while Francis has a longer-term injury. I see this as a fairly even encounter and even would give the slight edge to Anderlecht given the fact that they really convinced last week. I took 0.164 units on
Anderlecht +0 @ 2.086 & 0.137 units on
Anderlecht +0.25 @ 1.791. Odds went up a bit since as Leoni got injured so and I'm not going to add to my stake staying rather cautious instead.
Standard vs Kv Mechelen
Standard took a 3-1 loss last week against Gent with the 3 goals coming within minutes and then again showing a good reaction in the 2nd half. They have made a lot of steps though and I see them as a quite stable team overall with the potential to win against anyone. They are also complete today and always benefit from the home advantage. Mechelen on the other hand is in a bad streak and clearly shows a lack in overall quality which got it to the point that their coach Defour stepped down in the hope of creating some kind of shock effect. Interim coach VAnderbiest will take over and I have a suspicion that he will try to park the bus today in the hope to strike on the counters. They do have a lot of missing with Bekghali & Storm also out while Schoofs & Walsh are questionable. I would take Standard any day of the week at the 1.8+ odds if it wasn't for the coach change. I do fully expect a match picture at the start where Standard has the ball and tries to break the Mechelen Defense which made me take some crypto bets on Standard 1H corners. I took 0.0106 ETH on

Union vs Club Brugge
Union is deserved first in the standings with an excellent season so far. They already faced 3 top teams at home which resulted in a 2-0 Win against Anderlecht (who at that point were still really bad) 2-2 against Antwerp & 0-2 loss against Genk. Today will be another test against Club Brugge who so far have struggled but are improving. Right now I would say Union is better as a team but Club Brugge has more individual quality in their squad. Union have been valued very highly on the betting market with generally big handicaps which they also managed to cover. I do expect a match where both are willing to go for it and these teams have a high 1H ration in goals. Union at home has 61% of their goals in the 1st half while Club has 60% of their away goals in the 1st half. My lean for sure is on Club Brugge +0.25 but I have been screwed too many times this season backing then and opposing Union that I will stay away. I will look for a potential entry on a 1H Over bet and took Crypto bets of 30$ on
More Goals 1H @ 3.15 & 20$ on
Equal Scoring Halves @ 3.60 both on
Rollbit. I'm also leaning toward an over corners bet.
Charleroi vs AA Gent
Charleroi disappointed last week while AA Gent put up an excellent performance. However, both teams have shown different faces so I don't rule out a good performance of Charleroi and the -0.5 line on the visitors for me is too big of a gamble to take and so is Charleroi +0.5. Charleroi has difficulties when they have to make the play and I don't expect them to do so today as AA Gent should be the team with the initiative. Charleroi so far is 4W-1.5L0.5P on the Under at home while AA Gent is 5W-1L-0P on the under away from home indicating a match with limited risk-taking. I took very cautious 0.1 unit bets on
