Three Tune Tuesday | Chica qué dices?

Hello Hivers!

Happy Tuesday to everyone from my side of the world.

Today is my first participation in the #ttt or #threetunetuesday initiative of @ablaze, in which I participate today encouraged by my friend @blackdaisyft. And it's also my first post in the Music community. And I hope to keep posting here at least every Tuesday from now on.

To start in the #ttt, I'm going with something different from my regular musical tastes. It's not the kind of music I usually used to listen to. It falls into what is now called urban music. This singer has a mix of rhythms, flamenco, Latin, rap, and pop, and stop counting. Every day she surprises more and more. My son loves her, and that's why I've listened to her so much.

There are some songs that I like. I usually run away from reggeaton, but Rosalía's talent makes those mixes with a bit of experimental reggeaton and fusion of rhythms so catchy. And then, or rather first and foremost, there's her incredible voice.

Tune No.1 SAOKO - Rosalía

My first tune is the first single I listened to from her new album Motomami. SAOKO, I think it's the song I've listened to the most in the morning in the last month when I've been driving my son to school.

It is a reggaeton with fusions of Latin pop and jazz. A kind of tribute to a classic reggaeton song, Saoco by Wisin, according to Rosalía.

One of the things that surprise me about Rosalia is the lyrics of her songs. Sometimes difficult to understand even for those of us who are native Spanish speakers. But some of her lyrics have a lot of meaning. And Saoko talks about transformations.

The word Saoko seems to be of African origin from what I've read, and it means movement. I don't know if it's true, though.

Tune No.2 Bulerías - Rosalía

It is also from his album Motomami. And I love it. Maybe because I've always liked flamenco music, and this is the most flamenco on the album.

I've always liked the bulerías, a fast flamenco rhythm. When I was young, there was a time when I wanted to learn to dance flamenco. And I liked to dance the sevillanas but much more the foot-tapping in the bulerías.

Tune No.3 Malamente - Rosalía

Although lately, I have listened more to the songs on Rosalia's Motomami album. For me, the best is still her album El Mal Querer.

It tells the story of a toxic relationship, and each song is a chapter of the story. It is an album with songs full of flamenco, rap, and pop.

The song I like the most is Malamente. Chapter No.1

I can't listen to them this time of night but I believe they are great. I am not really fond of reggae but sometimes I can listen to them depending on my mood hihi.
