Celsius crypto catastrophe

I've said multiple times that I'm a lazy son of clown, so lazy in fact that I wasn't interested in wracking my last remaining brain cells with how the DeFi thing worked even though most people were singing it's praises like it was the second coming of bitcoin or something. I could say there is sort of a method to my lackadaisical approach to crypto. I don't get involved too much or at all with stuff I don't understand or don't care enough to research. Real life is full of migraine inducing stuff and I want my magic internet monnies to be as fun and hassle free as possible.

Now when the bear market starts shaking the hype projects tree and some of them all falling of, like Celsius looks like it soon might, I can stand on my high horse and say you shouldn't blindly follow the hype and... wait, do clowns ride horses? Last time I tried riding a horse it felt more like getting kicked in the balls repeatedly. So the horse thing might sound epic but it's freaking uncomfortable if you're an uncoordinated buffoon like me.

Anyway, with the all singing all dancing Celsius network halting all transactions I wanted to do some digging to see if there were some warning signs before all the carfuffle started. And wouldn't you know ? the Celsius folks were up to some shady stuff a good while back, apparently being involved with the TerraUSD fiasco as well, according to this video, which goes into more detail and it's pretty short and to the point.

This whole thing has bitcoinneeeeeeeeeeect ( you have to yell it every time) vibes to be honest. Like with bitconnect, Celsius is the harbinger of the real market pull back and sort of a preview of things to come. The funny thing is there are memes out there praising Celsius, that's why I bastardized the one above, sweet irony is sweet.

You could say this bear market is not messing around, 2 mini catastrophes in just as many months. So remember kids: it's better to miss out at first and then laugh of the losers that invested in the hype than the other way around. I know it should be obvious but to quote Musky Boy : " it's way more profound than it sounds" :P
